Nice Quality Clasp, Love the Colors
Truthfully, I picked this lead specifically and only because I loved the color. I chose hunter green for my horse, and wasn’t able to find many leads to match his halter that weren’t solid colored or just green/black, so when I saw this one I bought it without a second thought.I’m pleased with my impulse purchase lolThe lead is nice quality, it’s heavy enough that it doesn’t feel cheap despite being poly (I prefer rope), and the clasp is nice and very secure. I love the bull snap design even though I didn’t think I would at first, its kinda weird to get the hang of but it feels much more secure than a regular snap hook, even if its a little heavier.Because it’s a poly lead, it does snag on things pretty easily, and after only a few weeks of use this one has a couple noticeable snags and a few places with loose “strings,” but its a horse lead rope so I never expected it to stay pristine.

Hamilton Extra Heavy Poly Rope is a Nice Lead
Has a very heavy metal snap which is a bit difficult for my old hands to operate at times but is very secure. Nice and long, ties well and stays tied and best of all matches her halter and looks pretty sharp! I would recommend this to everyone.

A horse lead that My dog loves as his leach.
You’ll never find a dog leash longer than 6′ – this Lead/Leash was 10″ with a thick (1″) round soft rope. This allows him to move ahead on our walks/runs. The Bull snap was hard to get use to, but is substantial and made of brass.

I bought this one because of the snap, I like the length. I haven’t used it yet, but, I hope it stays Strong. Looks nice in black, and Price is much better than mustang, or Tough1.I hope HAMILTON will make Rope Halters this good for US non Trainers that DYI our own Horse care.The Pricey stuff doesn’t make sense.

My filly was constantly getting her other lead rope unsnapped. I don’t know how she’d do it, but she’d shake her head and suddenly I was holding rope, but no horse. This snap makes it virtually impossible for her to do that, and the color is just as depicted in the picture. It is fairly long, which is nice as well.

My daughter wanted a horse themed room. I bought items that would help with decoration but also be useful to her in her career path of owning a horse and being a horse vet. This item is sturdy and so far is working perfectly for what we use it for.

I bought this lead for my adorable mini (as sheâs seen in the photos) and itâs the quality Iâve come to expect from Hamilton and other such brands. Great price and was shipped very quickly, and it only took about a week to get to me in Canada. The rope is a very soft nylon which I love in lead ropes and has a very sturdy pull clasp, which makes for less finger-pinching for the clumsy farmer. The one thing I donât love is that after a few years of use these ropes do splinter apart, but youâll experience that with any rope. All in all, these ropes are very durable and definitely worth what little money you pay for them.

I needed a heavy rope, unfortunately this is nylon and sticks to the velcro on my jacket, could have been a disaster when my shire horse spooked and ran around me. The rope got so caught around my body it took a friend a few minutes to release me, if she had bolted I probably wouldn’t have survived.
