Stable and easy to refill!
I tried two other feeders before; and, this is my favorite. Unlike the ones with clips, this one just hooks onto any cage; and stays put. The detachable pellet tray is just the right size,easy to refill and easy for my guinea pigs to eat from – even the babies. Sturdy, all around good product.

Good product for the price but not good for food diggers
These hold a lot of hay. They hook on the side of the cage and are made of strong metal bars.The major downside to these is the bars run vertical without any crossing bars. This means that if your animal is a “food digger”, they can completely empty this hay holder in under a minute. This will waste your hay, at a rate that could be greater than 80%. That’s the major downside with how these are made.But knowing this, I have still ordered multiple.To combat hay/food diggers, I add 1×2 mesh wiring to the inside of these. They can still pull some hay through and also eat from the top.

This has worked great with all my guinea pigs!. I have bought multiple of these cause they work good. My pigs have never had any issues with these and it is very easy to clean.

Perfect for my chinchillas
These are so much easier to use then a hay bag and my chinchillas seem to like them better as well.They hold ample amount of hay and gives them easy access to it. What is really nice is the back is closed off so less hay gets tossed out of the cage.They are sturdy and I believe will hold up for a decent amount of time and and I love the way they look inside my cage.

Weâve used the hay feeder for a couple of years and itâs held up well. The pigs donât chew on it, and it holds enough hay for a couple of days.Helps keep the cage cleaner because the hay isnât all over the floor.

This hay feeder is ample size. Bit bigger than medium size & holds a fair amount of hay. My mission was to find a hay feeder for over my bun’s litterbox so they can eat & poop bc apparently thats a thing they do, lol. Since getting this their cage is mostly clean except for stray pellet here & there but they are busy energetic bunnies who enjoy their daily roaming times. I often mix hays in here or put the old standby timmy in it then add oat or meadow grass to top it up, a delicious treat for them to munch!! I have not had any problems with this moving but I did ziptie to to their cage as sometimes certain buns can get rambunctious!
