Works great, but the unit does get hot so be mindful of the temp.
It’s working great for my baby bearded dragon’s tank. Have to adjust the height for the basking spot temp since all setups are different. But keeps it steady for my tank. There is no dome cover so becareful when you need to work on the tank where the light sits It’s very hot. So far so good.

Excellent lamp! I was afraid at first that it would get too hot and be a hazard, but it is not!! It does get very hot so be careful, however it does come with a timer and adjustable settings. This works perfectly and seems to be made well and should last long. The size is perfect and the price was great!

My turtle Esmerelda enjoys basking in the warmth of her new Godzilla reptile heat lamp. The heat lamp was easy to install, but wish it had a few more options for solid placement. It can slide down into the water if the aquarium is bumped. The light has sufficient brightness to it, so much so, I am currently running it on the dim setting. The light is on all the time, so I haven’t used the timer except for testing to see if it works, which it does. Adequate, but could have a better system to secure it to the aquarium.

OK, but not as bright as I thought they would be and switch in REALLY poor location.
I got two of this unit for my turtle’s tank. I wanted to replace my existing lamps which were the larger, ugly can variety. While these are much smaller they also throw WAY less light. Also, for some reason the switch unit to turn them on / timer is close to the male plug, not the light itself. I can’t imagine in what application you would want to bend over near the wall outlet to turn them on instead of turning them on near the lamp itself. Because my cords are currently plugged in under a cabinet supporting the tank I would have to open the doors and bend over every time I want to turn the lights on or off. The only other option would be to run an extension cord from the cabinet and have the entire length of the lamp cord outside the cabinet – messy and awkward.In the end, I decided not to use the lamps. My daughter was looking for lights to shine on some of her house plants, so they will be going to that use. She will have to be careful not to shine the lights near her, though, because they intentionally have no UV protection and present a UV hazard to people.Overall, I cannot recommend these lamps, mostly because of the design flaw, but also because of the low light output. They might be OK for a VERY small reptile habitat, but that’s about it.

We got the 4-pack of replacement bulbs for our two large snake tanks, which house our corn snakes. The bulbs were easy to install and give off a bright, steady warmth that helps keep the tanks at the right temperature. Theyâve been working well so far, and I appreciate having multiple bulbs on hand for future changes.That said, I do have one concern: the product listing notes that these bulbs shouldnât be used for extended periods and recommends only 3â4 hours of use per day. Most cold-blooded animals, including our snakes, require heat for much longer. Our lamps are on for about 16 hours daily and so because of this, Iâm unsure how long these bulbs will actually last.Pros:-Easy to install-Bright and warm-Convenient multi-packCons:-Recommended daily use is far below what most reptiles typically require-Longevity is questionable for full-day useOverall, a solid option if youâre looking for reliable warmth and ease of use, just be mindful of the potential for faster burnout with extended use.

I would have given it 5/5 stars, but I ordered a four pack with 2Ã25W and 2Ã50W and I got 4Ã25W, truthfully it is perfect for us because I only wanted 25W bulbs and the price is so good that it was cheaper to get this 4 pack than to buy the 25W bulbs separately, but if I needed both, that would have been annoying.Gorzilla is a great brand and their products have lasted a long time giving reliable heat for our terrarium. The biggest problem with these are that they last so ling that you won’t need to change out the bulb anytime soon, however it’s always good having a back-up!Highly recommend!
