Escape Free Memory Foam Dog Harnesses for Small Dogs – Gooby Escape Free Memory Foam Harness is made for small breed dogs. This means that our largest size will fit a dog up to around 35 lbs. In order to fully utilize the functionality of the harness, as well as the fit, we recommend measuring the largest part of the dog’s chest.
Escape Free Design – The Gooby Escape Free no pull dog harness reduces the space around the back making harder for your dog to escape the dog harness by backing away during the walk. MAKE SURE THE MEMORY FOAM HARNESS IS PROPERLY SIZED BY CHECKING TO SEE IF THERE IS NO SPACE AROUND THE BACK OF YOUR DOG WHEN THE HARNESS IS PULLED FULLY. INCORRECT SIZING WILL LEAD TO ESCAPING OF THE HARNESS.
Memory Foam – Our Escape Free Memory Foam puppy harness keeps your small dog or cat warm and padded . It significantly reduces the force on the dog when pulled and fleece lined inside provides warmth. Like its product name suggests, the most differentiating feature of the Escape Free Memory Harness is its use of memory foam in the harness’s padding.
4 Point Adjustability – Comes with a 4-point adjustments to make sure it fits on your furry pal like a glove. (2 on the neck and 2 on the chest). Our Step-In design makes it easy for your dog to step in to the harness and out without a hassle. Simply place the left paw of the dog on the left arm hole, and right paw of the dog on the right arm hole and pull up to fasten.
Gooby Patented Design – Patented Escape Free No Pull dog harness frame (US 10,130,076 B2, US D798,508 S) reduces choking during easy walks, jogs, and runs, as well as prevents the pup from escaping when backing out.
Customers say
Customers find the harness comfortable, with one noting it doesn’t scratch their dog’s skin, and appreciate its quality and design. The harness effectively prevents escaping, with one customer mentioning their Yorkie can’t wiggle out of it, and provides a secure fit around the girth. They like its softness with short fleece lining, and find it particularly suitable for small breeds like Boston Terriers and Pugs. While some customers find it strong enough, others report it tearing within a month of use.

Escape free harness
This harness definitely does as intended. My little houdinis cannot wiggle out of them at all. They feel great to the touch and look comfortable on my dogs. Great color choices too!

High quality, easy to put on, comfortable.
I have tried many different styles and brands of harnesses for my two medium sized dogs (30 lb Cockapoo and 20 lb Scottish Terrier). Gooby harnesses are by far my favorites. I have several different Gooby styles. They are sturdy yet lightweight and extremely well made. Both of my dogs are pullers and Gooby harnesses stand up to that, even when they spot squirrels! I also wash the harnesses regularly in a mesh bag and line dry them â and they come out looking like new. This particular style is easy for my dogs to step into and the padding makes them extra comfortable, even in our hot humid summers. Highly recommend!

Best harness for barrel chest pups
My pug slips out of every harness I’ve ever tried and most of them dug into his rolls and folds and just looked like he was being tortured to death wearing them. This harness fits very nicely and he actually likes to wear it. It can be put on comfortably but he can’t slip out. The way it will tighten from the top (where the leash is attached) is brilliant to keep him comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

BEST harness ever!
After trying dozens of harnesses, I finally found this one. The padded version is worth the extra money. My 2 18# terriers will pull at times, and this harness is built os that all the pressure is around the dogs chest, and NOT on their neck at all. The V shape in front gives the trachea plenty of room. So we have no more coughing, and it even helps with the pulling on walks. Both dogs are much better on leash now. It is a very secure harness, solid clasp and rings to hook the leash onto. Plus, they CANNOT pull back and slide out of it. Money well spent.

The best we’ve found so far, but not perfect
Our standard beagle is a master escape artist. We’ve tried several harnesses. This harness is the best we’ve found so far, but it does have some quality issues. The harness is well-padded and very comfy for her. Most importantly, it has kept our sweet girl safe, so far. My issue is that it seems cheaply made. The straps stretch out. We ordered the biggest size according to her measurements, which was very snug when we first put it on her. We’ve used it about 3 weeks now, and the straps have stretched out quite a bit. We’ve gone from making as loose as possible to adjusting it as tight as possible and it’s still loose on her. The other issue for me is that all of the clips and adjustments are cheap plastic. Eventually, I feel like my dog will be able to slip out as it continues to stretch, or one of the buckles will break. Too bad because I like the design. I’d be willing to pay more for better quality.

What a Great Harness!
Amazon only offers sizes up to large. After ordering the large, it was slightly too small for our Shih Tzu. We returned it and found the manufacturer’s web site and found an extra-large. It fits perfectly! I love the escape-free design. It is definitely more comfortable for our dog than previous harnesses we have purchased and it allows for a simpler and quicker method for putting it on the dog. He gets so impatient with the other harnesses.

Comfortable…until it tears
This harness is built seemingly for comfort – comfy foam, no buckles or strap seams in places that will chafe canine armpits – but for a harness marketed as “no-pull” it lacks in durability to pulling. The straps do take up when my dog pulls, and this design does prevent the harness slipping over my dog’s head if he suddenly slams on the brakes. But after just 2 months, the harness started tearing right down the middle of the chest. My dog is a 27 lb Boston/Frenchie mix. I stopped using it for walks where I knew my dog could get excited out of fear it’d finally tear and let him dash into traffic or to the next neighborhood. It’s a shame because he seems to like it, and it’s easy to put on. Just needs a reinforcement strap across the front on the outside of the foam to bring this product up to snuff. Maybe it’ll be great for smaller or less excitable dogs, but if your dog is a puller, I can’t recommend this harness for sustained use.

perfect for training
This is perfect for training a dog without choking it. The harness get tight when the dog pulls. Soft material not to harm the dog.

Nice quality harness, with no buckles near any of dogâs joints. However my little Houdini still managed to wriggle out of it

Lovely, a bit pricey

Bought this for my pug who is a major puller on the lead and also slipped a few harnesses previously. This looked like a good choice when I was researching and I was originally put off by the price, but I am totally blown away with how brilliant this product is! The quality is top notch and the harness itself has been thoughtfully made. Love the way that when a dog pulls the harness is designed to adapt across the dogs chest not pull across the dogs neck like other harnesses are designed to do ( so it’s fantastic for short nosed breeds). It’s easy to put on the dog via stepping into it and sits lower away from the neck at the front. The memory foam is soft and comfortable and the straps can adjust how it fits around the front legs so there’s no chaffing. It is quite a lot more expensive than other brands but so worth the extra pennies do not let its price put you off! Definitely recommend!
