Cuts beautifully
Cuts so beautifully. My first Geib blade and very happy with it. Used it today to groom my friends Goldendoodle and the blade worked flawlessly. Also first time using a #7 blade. Will be buying more butter cut blades.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this 1/2″ blade!! It makes doing the haircuts on doodles and other larger dogs SO much easier than using the 1/2″ guard comb!! I get it done so much faster now!!

Game changer for grooming a curly coat golden doodles!
This blade is absolutely fabulous on a tight curly coat golden doodle. I have used other highly rated blades but none of them worked half as well as the Geib buttercut blade. It left her coat so smooth, needed very few “second passes” and made the whole grooming experience so much quicker and more pleasant for both our little dog and for me! I used the 5F which left a very short but perfect length for summer. I will order another, perhaps a 3F for a winter cut.

Lives up to it’s name!
I have never done this but had to… I have used brand new Oster and Andis blades on my cream standard poodle that did nothing. I have had standard poodles (black) and standard schnauzers for years. No problems cutting hair. This cream poodle I have had fits trying to groom. I tried the Geib Buttercut blade and the hair fell off like I was used to. I LOVE THIS BLADE!!! I will never use anything but this brand from now on! Many thanks and Gigi thanks you too!

*Finally* the answer for a too-thin coat & a too-thick coat too
I have a black and white Mini Schnauzer with the world’s thinnest coat which has been a real problem. I always had to scissor her body or she looked bald (with large “freckle” spots showing through). FINALLY I have a blade that I can do her body with that looks perfect! Only very slightly shows her freckles but should grow out perfectly. This is the first time I’ve been able to make her look like her breed. I also have the opposite of her thin wiry coat, a very thick, very soft coated Havanese, and this blade works great on him too. Less time spent with superior results for both dogs. My next blade will definitely be a Geib Buttercut. Pricey over the top but I’m still very happy!

Iâve always used other brands, and was recommended to try this one. Iâm so glad I did. Itâs a bit more money, but it glides through my doodleâs hair, and does a superior job. I have Angus clippers and I have no trouble fitting it on in fact it fits better than other brands. Iâve already bought a second blade. I hope Amazon keep selling them because theyâre really expensive everywhere else.
