Exactly What I Was Looking For
I was initially a bit hesitant to buy this since there were no reviews, but after checking out the sellerâs other highly rated products, I decided to give it a shot. I was looking for a cat ramp/board that was slightly angled, had a sisal mat (not cardboard since I donât want the mess and prefer something replaceable), and could stand on its own. This checked all those boxes.It was quick to assemble. The trickiest part was getting the mat on the board, as it kept curling up and I didnât want to mess up the velcro adhesive. The instructions said it was optional, but it did include screws to secure the mat more firmly to the board which I ended up using.I bought this to stop my cat from stretching and scratching our new couch and so far it seems to be working. The scratcher is well-balanced and stands on its own. Itâs also pretty sturdy and has a good weight to it, so it doesnât tip over when my cat uses it. I also appreciate that I can put it anywhere, not just by the couch.It came with: instructions, screws (plus extras), a screwdriver, wooden boards, and the sisal mat with velcro strips already attached. All of the parts feel high quality, and a good deal for the price.

Adhesive needs work
My cats donât seem too interested in this but I should have known because they usually like cardboard. The one star deducted is because the adhesive doesnât stayâ even with the nails included. It lifts all the time. Seems well made otherwise though

Good scratching board
Putting it together was very simple. One I had it assembled, my kitty pounced on it and immediately started scratching. It works well upright against the wall, but she also likes the angle when I turn it on its side (pictured). I love the addition of the rubber bumper for the top part, it allows you to turn it over onto hardwood or tile without it scraping the floor.

Not worth buying
I really like this brand but I donât think this scratcher was a good use of money. The screws that keep the mat in place are too small and will pull out of the mat. If I had washer that could have helped, I would have tried those but even then, Iâm not sure the screws would have been long enough to do so. Honestly, it would have been better to make it from scratch. And the cherry on top was that my cat is not really interested in it

Sturdy for the cats to scratch but only if against something for support. At least I find that to more effective.

Arrived covered in insects
Item arrived covered in very tiny brown insects. Set the item outside in hopes the insects would abandon the cat scratcher, but no luck. It’s been days and the scratcher is still infested with these insects. I’m worried if I exchange it the new cat scratcher will also have insects. It is unknown how long these cat scratches have been stored and in what condition. Also worried the insects will infest my home if I bring it back inside. Will likely have to return for refund.
