True Calming Support

Formula 707 Calming Pellets feature magnesium, L-Tryptophan, and thiamine, which support calmness and relaxation. Magnesium plays a role in nerve and muscle function. L-Tryptophan is an amino acid involved in producing serotonin, which influences mood. Thiamine (Vitamin B1) contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Calming Pellets can help take the stress off of horses that are extra sensitive in the show arena.

How long does Calming typically take to work?

It takes 72 hours to be fully absorbed in the system, a couple weeks to begin to overcome some of the mental aspects of their anxiety, and 72 hours to leave the system.

Can I increase the serving size?

Most horses do great on one scoop per day. Some horses may benefit from two scoops per day for added efficacy if results are not seen with one scoop.

Do I have to feed this every day?

Calming works best when fed daily. For immediate, fast-acting calming, you may want to try our Calming Paste.

Where is Calming made, and how do I know it’s quality?

Calming is made in our own facility in LaSalle, Colorado. We adhere to the good manufacturing guidelines of the National Animal Supplement Council – so you know you’re getting a quality product.

    100% worth your money!
About eight months ago, I purchased a feral 6-7yr old Arabian mare. From day one, it was clear she was incredibly reactive and fearful. Even after months of consistent handling, training, and patience, she remained on high alert. This mare would spook at things she had seen hundreds of times. If she felt cornered, she would jump fences didn’t matter if it hurt her or not. If the leaves of a tree moved too much, she’d bolt and drag you with her. This Mare has hurt herself more than once trying to get away from things that aren’t new. Getting her feet done required dorm gel, and even then, she’d sometimes run over you or try to fall over on you out of fear of being touched. She was not a horse you could simply walk up to and halter or pet. Catching her meant getting her into a round pen and spending 5–10 minutes just earning her trust enough to approach. She’s extremely sensitive, not food-motivated, and everything has always taken an enormous amount of time and effort.I tried everything to help her adjust to domestic life, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference, until this product.Within a week, I noticed a remarkable change. She became noticeably calmer and more approachable. For the first time, I could pet her without needing to corner or catch her. Her overall demeanor has improved dramatically. She no longer feels like she’s in constant fight-or-flight mode. She actually comes up to eat and doesn’t run away at the slightest movement. I got to the point where I thought that this Mare‘s only option was to be a sold or given to someone to be a pasture ornament. And that has completely changed. This mare was ulcer-prone and struggled to gain weight, even after being treated. Her nerves were simply too much. But this product has truly made her life, and mine ten times easier. I was skeptical at first, but I’m so glad I gave it a try.One small downside: she’s very picky and sometimes hesitant to eat it, so I mix it with her regular grain to make sure she finishes it. But considering the results, that’s a small price to pay.If you’re dealing with a nervous, high-strung horse, I can’t recommend this enough. I tried to add a video of how she used to react and then how I went up to her and pet her in the field with no problem, but Amazon was having issues or something. So I just added a picture for tax.

Good but time will tell if it’s great.
Seems to work as advertised. I haven’t been able to ride my gelding since I started using 707 calm because he caught a URI and I’m waiting for him to get over that before riding him. But he seems much calmer and easier to handle now, if he is more focused when I get to ride him it will be great.

    It works!
Wow, this stuff works! Been feeding one scoop daily to my barrel horse who tends to be on the muscle as soon as I get on him at races. I always just wait to get on him when we’re literally up next. After a couple of weeks on these 707 calming pellets, I was able to get on him two drags before our run! He was relaxed but still knew it was time to work! he was on point!

Caused Diarrhea and Bad Colic resulting in an $880 vet bill
Update: after posting my review the company replied and messaged me wanting to get more info on what happened and were genuinely concerned. After having a conversation with Melanie Martin, we decided it could have been too much magnesium for my horse system causing the diarrhea. As with any supplement, each individual animal responds differently. I greatly appreciate them, reaching out to me and wanting to make it right. Great customer service and communication. They offered me a refund and that is great.Gave my horse terrible diarrhea, severe gut pains causing a bad colic that ended up with an overnight stay at the emergency vet and $880 in vet bills. When it happened, he had been on the product about a week and at first, I didn’t connect the dots with the product and diarrhea as I have feed magnesium supplements before and never had any of them cause diarrhea. About 10 days after he recovered, I started him back on the product. Within a few hours of feeding it too him he had diarrhea again. So, it definitely was this product causing the issue. I will not feed this again to any of my horses based on this experience and cannot recommend it at all. I would give this product a negative star if I could.
