Great bedding choice for my momâs sulcata tortoise!
I bought this cypress bedding for my momâs new sulcata tortoise, and itâs been awesome so far! Itâs soft, natural-looking, and holds humidity really well without getting moldy or soggy.Her tortoise seems super comfortable burrowing and walking around in it, and it makes the whole enclosure feel more like her natural habitat. It also helps keep the smell down and is really easy to spot-clean and refresh.If youâre building a warm, cozy setup for your tortoise, this bedding is a solid choice. Flukers Cypress Mulch
Flukers cypress is the best. It’s just clean,not dusty and high quality. Unlike other companies I’ve bought from, Flukers packs the cypress dry which I love because I have some reptiles that require drier conditions. It’s much easier to just mist this if you have an animal that need higher humidity. I will be buying more of this.

LEOPARD GECKO APPROVED
Itâs a great MIX IN for leopard geckos! Itâs starting to get very hot and i have a huge tank for my Leo (about 75 gallons) & in my experience I would have a hard time keeping his humid side humid during the hot temps. Iâve used eco earth on its own as substrate which is just okay on its own at breaking down waste and providing a nice digging surface for my Leo. However itâs definitely prone to dust and holds moisture very poorly. This flukers substrate exceeded my expectations! As a mix in, it has managed the dust levels to almost nonexistent and holds moisture very very well. At first I was nervous since these are wood chips but theyâre actually pretty soft wood and would aid wonderfully in getting stuck shed off toes! As I mentioned before, this is a great MIX IN with loose substrate! Do not use this on its own! Itâs just straight wood chips!!

Misleading description
The product is good stuff. The problem is the description. You are not getting 40lbs of cypress mulch. You are not even getting 10lbs of that stuff. You will get 4 bags of mulch, each measures 5 quarts in volume. The 4 bags together weighs just shy of 8lbs.

Great Option For Snakes.
Bought for bedding for our Black Rat Snake. Works great and allows us to remove her feces easily. Allows her to be comfortable in the tank.

Excellent reptile bedding
Affordable high quality bedding for reptiles. Holds humidity well and doesn’t get dusty in drier enclosures. Holds up and looks great for as long as you need it. I appreciate that it can be used for all kinds of setups and helps to keep my herp room from smelling like a snake and lizard litter box.

Arrived fast. Good quality. They do have a scent that is obvious- smells like hay and wood. My turtles love this bedding.
