My horse’s lab results prove this product works.
The reason I have given it four stars instead of five is that they used to offer this product in a powder form as well. It was much easier to use and to store and it smelled like honey instead of something unsavory. The liquid really doesn’t smell good. In short, it was much more convenient and my horse liked it better than the liquid. The powder had a nice, neat little scoop so the product could be sprinkled on your horse’s food. This big gallon jug has to be poured into a container to measure the amount you need and no matter how careful you are, some always runs down the outside of the jug so you have to clean that up too. All that being said, it is a very good product. My old horse is anemic and this keeps his blood count normal when I use it in place of his regular supplement only six times a month. That’s the most important thing to me, so in spite of the fact that I will always have a chip on my shoulder because they stopped making the powder, I will continue to use it as I have for years!
