Perfect!
These feeders are so nice, heavy duty and cute! They have an old fashioned look and will look so pretty by my porch waiting for the finches to come by for lunch. Very happy with them.

Removable top & bottom for easy cleaning
Excellent. I’ve tried other thistle feeders but cleaning the bottom has been a problem with all of them. They have drain hole and seed catchers but it doesn’t take much rain for these to get gunked up. This one opens from the bottom; easy to fill and clean. Metal. Good size; two separate smaller feeders give birds and more options. Great price. Can’t ask for more.

Feeder
They are cute and are functional. AlthoughOnly a Downey woodpecker came to try it as far as I can tell. I’m still waiting for a finch.

size for the price
Perfect size for thistle for finches. Not so big as to waste seed when it rains or poor weather.Double pack well worth the money.

Finches love it!
The finches love this feeder. I had one in the past used it for many years. Color lasted for a long time. I use thistle feed. Iâm amazed to see how many little finches would come. Great price for a two pack. Plus itâs made out of metal and can easily twist off top. I wash every few months rinse and dry. Squirrel protection I donât know Iâve never seen a squirrel on this feeder. Works like itâs supposed to. I also love that itâs not super long. The problem with a long feeder that is overtime and rain the feed gets hard and clumpy. I prefer a shorter feeder. Plus with a two pack and give him one as a gift.

Not impressed
The cage makes this feeder bulky, and the tube that contains the bird seed is so small, it only lasts a few hours before it is empty. Kind of a pain. The squirrels donât bother because we are outside so often they are scared away.

None better!
For years I searched for a way to defeat the squirrels. So many different feeders or deterrents, nothing stopped them. Well, until this. Absolutely the best ever! I keep the feeder outside my kitchen window and have watched the squirrels try every which way to gain access to just ONE piece of food only to leave disappointed. Now it is fun to just watch them stare at it and try to figure a way in lol. It’s not a large feeder and it is a pain to clean but that is such a small issue I wouldn’t dock a star as it is still worth it overall. If you have squirrel issues don’t hesitate to buy this and defeat those little buggers!

Absolutely could not be happier with these. They are small, and thats what i was looking for, as finch seeds are tiny and go to waste in larger feeders. Also, they have no feeder port holes, so less mess and the squirrels cant gorge. I havent been able to attract goldfinches this year, but the chicadees and woodpeckers love them. I have nyjer seed in one (have not had much luck with this) and fine sunflower chips in the other which has been a hit. I dont bother with millet based finch seed because the birds dont seem to care for it much. The biggest pro to the small size of these feeders is that they sit higher than my large squirrel buster plus and the squirrels cant reach it if they hang off these. Squirrel problem gone, no mess, and all the birds are happy.
