good value for money, and the birds really love it
We do not have a squirrel problem around here, so i cannot attest to that issue. But the birds really love it, it took about 3 days before they started using it, and after a week there is a daily orderly queue of birds waiting to take their turn on them.The design is both simple and effective. It does not allow water to drip in, the cover is large enough to stop rain from being forced up into it, and they survive 60mph + winds without spilling the seeds (recent Santa Ana winds tested that).Refilling is very easy, just lift and lower the top, fill with seeds and let it down again. Great little design. Personally i would prefer something a little more natural looking, but apparently the birds have less interest in such things. Good for them !Excellent value for the money

Metal; so it should be durable. Birds seem to like it a lot, however, needs refilling every second day due to size. Easy to fill and metal top gives stability. Good purchase!

Great wild bird feeders!
This 2-pack of wild bird feeders is an excellent value to add to any home or garden landscape! The feeders are made of high quality metal and glass, and had a sleek appearance to compliment any style. The tube holds approximately 1 pound of feed, and lasts all day even for our large wild bird population!The feeders offer squirrel protection from tue slick metal top, but it helps to hang the feeders in an open area so the birds feel comfortable to enjoy the feeders. Highly recommend this wild bird feeder 2-pack for tue quality, value, and wild bird watching pleasure!

Good quality bird feeder pair
These bird feeders are very well made. Much better than cheap plastic & other more expensive bird feeders. No matter what, you canât keep the squirrels away but this product can handle it without losing the seed. I suggest using sunflower seeds because they donât generate weeds!

Must add end caps on wire support to prevent falls
Donât buy unless you want to modify it. Ours kept falling because the L ends of the wire support keep slipping out of its cross-piece stick, while adding seed or even just hanging after filled with seed. I have uploaded a photograph of my fix. If the maker added little end caps on the support wire after the ends are inserted through the support stick this problem could be averted â¦I glued on dabs of thick construction glue to make end cap tips to prevent this constant slippage and falling and spilling. How long my fix will last I donât know.Secondly, I thought that heavy birds would close the feeder holes. NOT SO. This feeder just has shorter perches. Acrobatic doves get food all the time. Just so you know what you are getting. The feeder seems sturdy since ours has repeatedly fallen onto gravel with no damage except to my pride at buying a faulty product.Thirdly, just so you know, (if you are a newbie as I was) that as these tall tube feeders become emptier, this obviously leaves upper perches empty of seed and the birdies are frustrated when so many feeder holes are empty and they canât figure out that they MUST GO to the lower perch. (They have little birdie brains) So I have to refill it often before it is totally empty. As you can see in the photo if both style of feeders on our tree (filled at the same time), the birdies PREFER the one shown on the LEFTânot this feeder!!All in all I would NOT recommend this feeder.
