Nice heater for our aquarium
we found this aquarium heater to work very well. The 3 suction cups help to make sure it stays put in our aquarium – our last heater was constantly floating off the glass. It keeps a constant temperature and the thermometer that goes on the outside aquarium wall is easy to read.

Puts out a lot of heat – Control isn’t super easy but not bad, either
I’ve been keeping fish for 30+ years now and have been through a fair share of heaters. First, this works. It puts out 300w of heat which my 125g aquarium needs. I use a 300w and a 500w attached to a single controller to keep my temperature. I cranked this to max heat and plugged it into my digital controller. I can’t speak for the accuracy of this since I didn’t use that feature as the on/off function is controlled externally. I did notice that the turn dial moves the gauge up and down a lot so it is probably a bit more difficult to dial in to the exact temperature than I’d like but that’s not critical. Once it’s set, you never need to set it again. This seems like it could be a good inexpensive heater. If this is still heating in another 5 years it will have been totally worth it.

I really like this heater so far. It’s super easy to set up. Just basically put the suction cups on, stick it where you want it, and plug it in. It maintains the water temperature where you set it perfectly. And it’s nice to know what temp the water is.We just got another turtle hence another tank so I got another one of these heaters.Definitely recommend this!

Heater stuck on and killed all my fish.
Heater worked really well for 3 months. Then stuck on and killed 4 corys. And a betta. Boiled. Thing 1. Thing 2. Indiana and jones.my neon and emerald corys And charlie harper my betta. I had these fish for 2 years! I will be sending it back for warrenty and not buy another.

Great for my shrimp tank
Heater is easy to set up and place in shrimp tank to keep the water at a nice warmish temp. So far so good, shrimp don’t seem to mind it. It doesn’t draw that much power since my tank is only about 12 gallons.
