Comfortable mask
My horses try to rub off every mask. This one doesnât bother them much and it stays on.It doesnât seem to block their vision at all.The only problem is the regular size is too small and the extra large is too big for one horse. I modified the XL to fit him better.Very durable. Iâve had one on a pony for 2 years so far and itâs still in great condition.

Good quality for a great price
Good quality! The medium fits my mare great. She had a petite head and the Velcro isnât too long. I ordered a second one for my other mare who is bigger knowing it would be a little on the small side for her. There isnât a large size and I know the extra large would be way too big. So if they get the large in stock I would definetly order one of those.

Nice product! Could be slightly bigger for warm blood but durable and attractive
I love these they have that extra style that is a nice departure. My horse wears warmblood though and I think these are a wee bit small- but wearable. They seem to stay in well too though I think my horse needs it off of him sometimes also. He likes the fly protection but enjoys seeing better also when he eats etc. a catch 22 as usual. I would use a quiet ride for actual riding!

Farnam Supermask II are the best
These are the best most efficient fly masks. They aren’t extremely durable when used on pastured horses, which is what I do. However, I haven’t found any that can stand up to the abuse horses can dream up for them. Perhaps the worst hazard is other horses deciding to help their friends out of the masks, and then use them for toys. But they cause fewer problems and fit better than other brands.

Works great, seems to hold up well
I retired my two big warmbloods last spring, and although they have shade and shelter in their pasture, over exposure to the sun and flies worried me. On sunny days I put these on during their morning feeding, and I take them off at the evening feeding. One of them is fraying a bit at the side, but it has been a year, so I am satisfied, and ordered another. I even washed them in a delicate cycle and hung to dry and they came out clean and intact. The XL fits my BIG 17 hand warmblood, the Lg fits my 16.2 hand warmblood/TB mix.

Cut my horse’s bottom eyelid
The mask looks nice and fits well but the evening of the first time he wore it when I went out to remove it, I was horrified to see specks of blood on his nose. Looked closer and there was a noticeable nick on his bottom eyelid. This mask should work well in theory but the bendable mesh can invert and cause injury. Stay far far away

Awesome product as always, I use the horse size on my Arab, Thoroughbred and POAs. The Arab / Cob sizes are way too small for my Arab and POA ponies. I use the regular masks year round for those Appaloosa POAs, as their eyes get sunburnt, and both my POAs have Uveitis. I also use the masks with ears as we have terrible blackflies in the spring – love those too. Just wish Farnam would design masks with nose guards to protect from the flies and also to shade my POA ponies pink skinned muzzles which also get sunburnt.

Je connaissais déjà ce masque, et il avait tenu 5 étés.Ma crainte sur ce site était la taille, vu qu’il n’en demande pas, mais chance ou pas, il va parfaitement sur mon espagnol.Sur la boite il est noté “taille horse, 900-1200pounds – type quarter, thoroughbred, paint, pinto, morgan, saddlebred, appaloosa.Je ne pense pas qu’il irait pour des grand chevaux type allemand, ou plus fin type arabe.Sur la boite il est noté qu’il existe d’autres tailles : X-large, Arabian, yearling, foal, et d’autres couleurs.Je l’ai pris sans la protection des oreilles. Avec un long toupet, c’est mieux de le dégager en dehors du masque afin de ne pas abimer les yeux de son cheval, et si il reste le moindre moucheron dans une oreille ça doit être désagréable.Le délai annoncé des 3 semaines a été raccourcie à 1 semaine.La qualité est top. Donc je recommande vivement.

Je n’achète plus que ce masque pour mes juments. Il ne blesse pas et le fait qu’il ne couvre pas les oreilles fait qu’il tient très bien. Il est très résistant, ma jument de 3 ans n’a pas encore réussi à l’écorcher alors qu’elle est maître en la matière! ^^

I finally looked on Amazon and found the fly mask brand my parents bought back in the day. I have a 24 year old Thoroughbred who will NOT wear masks that cover his ears. Perfect fit and is much better made than the Absorbine ones.
