Great product in the arsenal of leather supplies
I like this product because some of my projects it really softened up the leather. Soaks in very well. I usually used neetsfoot oil otherwise. Been dabbling with other products too for things that I want less oily, like upholstery, so I tried leather honey on those with good results, even though that doesn’t soak in the same, it leaves a nice finish. Better than the bag balm I used to use. Newer, fast chrome tanned leather doesn’t have the same results as things I had built with vegetable tanned leather, or other old processes used. In the older leather stuff I had around, like clothing, motorcycle jackets, sheaths, etc, this product is great. Really soaks in and makes things pliable again. Don’t recommend on anything like belts, had one stretch after using it. I used that first step spray able saddle soap too, and I really liked that stuff too, because it was easier to use than the old tins of saddle soap, and different than soapy water which shrinks or hardens leather.

The classic!
I live in a horrible environment with hot, humid summers and cold, dust-dry winters. This leather conditioner is the only thing that stops my tack – which sees heavy use in a lesson program – from falling apart completely. I use it bi-weekly after cleaning with a basic saddle soap.

Used it on some older leather pouches that I have neglected over the years and it made quite a difference. It darkened the color of the leather and they all look great, couldn’t be more pleased. I found it easier to use a small brush. No bad odor or greasy feeling.

In looking at the product again, it appears the saddle usage is most prominent, as to my furniture, not for me. When i applied it to a test area, it was too thin. Better get some saddle soap for me.

Absolutely terrific for restoring my 35 year old leather motorcycle saddle bags.As others have mentioned, this little bottle is plenty, to restore a huge surface area. A little goes a long way.

This stuff works. Let me start by saying simply that. It REALLY does. I’ve used the new ‘Leather Honey’ from the U.S… which is superb, i’ve used Carrs Leather Oil – also great stuff… but this stuff penetrates deep and makes the leather go all floppy… absolutely beautiful.Now for the sting in the tail… it’s £25 for LESS THAN 500ml.. that is “””SMALL””. Seriously.. if this stuff was HALF the price it would be expensive.My advice ..? Only get if:a) You have more money than senseb) You have one item, or a number of small items made of leather so dearly precious to you that it’s worth it.Other than that.. walk away
