A Nostalgic Hug From My Childhood
One of my earliest memories is of this fish tank. My room gets super dark so I figured a light up fish tank was just the thing! I can’t put it right next to my bed because it’s super bright in your face. So I put it on my dresser and it looks great 🙂 no need to worry about leakage because there’s no water inside, just a rotating water background. Functions perfectly for my needs. I think it would be a great gift for anyone who has anxiety, is expecting a baby, etc. I saw someone else uses it in their therapy room and I think that’s a great way to create a calming environment. I find it very mesmerizing to look at while I fall asleep.

I do hobby stuff involving having to sometimes wait a few minutes while holding something together until the glue dries. I have this “aquarium” lined up in my line of sight so I can gaze at it while waiting. It’s easy to get lost in my underwater mind while the glue dries. It’s really an amazing thing to watch. The effect is mesmerizing. Absolutely NO problems about the motor or revolving screen getting hung up. I tried having it on at night to test as a night light. It’s pretty bright!!! It does NOT get hot. It has a plug and does not have battery capabilities — which is exactly how I wanted it. It contains NO liquids in it yet somehow IT LOOKS REALLY WET!!! JUST FABULOUS. AND INEXPENSIVE. No need for fish poop, fish food, or other supplies. The variety of fish is wide and the background “plants” wave around realistically. If I somehow accidentally break this, I’ll be buying a replacement ASAP. A very warm and sincere “thank you” to the inventor and the manufacturer. Well done, folks!!!

Very cute! Yes it feels like light plastic, but looks adorable. I will be using it for a night light for diaper changes in my grandsons nursery for babysitting duty. The light is perfect to see just enough, but not blind us with a bright light in the middle of the night. The fish tank has no noise coming from it.

Looks Cool, but Feels Cheap
The lamp looks nice when itâs on and the rotating fish effect is fun, but the build quality isnât the best. It feels a little cheap, and after using it for a while it started making some noise.
