Once upon a time, in a land overwhelmed by pesky flies, a group of nature-loving, fly-swatting enthusiasts decided enough was enough. They put their heads together (not literally, because, well, flies) and crafted a solution that was both user-friendly and fly-unfriendly. Thus, Flies Inn LLC was born!
Disclaimer: No actual flies were harmed in the making of this ‘About Us’ page… just kidding, that’s literally our business.

FLIES INN LITE FLYCAGE FLYTRAP
Reusable, Durable, Compact, odor-minimized fly trap: 15% smaller than EZ Fly Cage with a unique bait plate design.

FLIES INN EZ FLY CAGE FLY TRAP
REUSABLE, DURABLE, HIGH CAPACITY, LOW ODOR

FLIES INN FLY BAIT REFILL
Flies Inn traps work with our bait refills, field-tested globally since 2005.
FLIES INN FLY CAGE FLY TRAPS
LOW ODOR – The unpleasant odor of traditional fly traps originates from decaying flies in the attractant bait, not from the bait itself. In Flies Inn Fly Cages, the funnel design separates the flies from the bait mixture, resulting in minimal odor.
Flies Inn Attractant was discovered in 2005 and has been field-tested on four continents. The formula is compatible with all of our outdoor fly traps.
Its formulated with animal feed items and commonly consumed food commodities. It attracts all common flies, including hundreds of the most prevalent species. Harmless to bees or other pollinators.
Attraction methods – Flies Inn Fly Cages attract Flies in 7 different ways; Design, Attractant Bait, Fly mating scents, Color scheme, Light and Sound. The trap’s color lures flies to the entrance, and the natural light within guides them to their capture. Buzzing colonies in Flies Inn Cages supercharge attraction, resulting in exponential effectiveness!
The difference between the EZ Fly Cage and the Lite Fly Cage lies in their design and size. Both are made of fiberglass and come with Flies Inn Attractant bait. The Lite Fly Cage is 15% smaller, the most noticeable difference is the bait plate attachment. The EZ Fly Cage has a casing for the bait plate, while the bait plate in Lite Fly Cages can be directly attached to the bottom hoop.

Works! Just need to give the flies times to find it
Works great! I bought this for my chicken run because I sit out with my girls an hour or two a day and the flies were horrible. When I first hung it, I just used chicken poop for the bait and I caught more moths, than flies. After a couple weeks, more and more flies became attracted to it, especially after a dry spell(no rain for a while). I have not tried the bait that comes with it because chicken poop is working just fine, just make sure it stays wet.

Awesome!!
The flies and other insects have been in full force in my yard. Welcome Phoenix summer!! I found this Flies Inn product on Vine and had to get it. The package arrived and comes with everything needed to combat the pesky flies. It even comes with a zip tie. I have no idea what the zip tie is supposed to be used for, but it was in the box, so I thought Iâd mention it. Anyway, assembly of the trap is basically a non-issueâ¦. Attach the base to the netting and hang it all about 30 feet from the area you are trying to protect from flies. The contraption must also be 4 to 6 feet above ground. For that, I purchased a tall Shepherdâs Rod.The Flies Inn comes with 2 packs of attractant bait. Iâm not sure how long one bait lasts. My trap has been set up for less than a week so its too soon to know how long it will last. As for the bait, it has to be placed in the base and mixed with water in order to use it. The instructions do not bother to mention how much water is needed so I decided to fill the base completely with water. When mixing the bait and water, be careful. I spilled a bit of it on my outside table while mixing and at one point I mixed a bit too enthusiastically and some of that stinky mix splashed onto my blouse. Gross!!Anyway, I am keeping an eye on the trap daily to see if its catching anything. So far, not really, since there is only a very few flies in there, but the instrux does mention that it will take a little time for the trap to start working properly. For its convenience, simplicity, and size, Iâm giving this 4 stars. I feel confident that it will earn 5 stars once it starts working as it should.

Wonât buy again
Order something else. This fly trap has been hanging for 6 days now, in 100 degree west Texas in the middle of a horse & goat pasture, the amount of flies around here is quite ridiculous. I havenât dumped it at all since hanging and you can see what all it has caught since being hung. There is no loop to hang from, only 3 straps of fabric that make it hang crooked & the water/bait all goes to one side. The flies do go into the trap but the âtunnelâ on the inside is too big so the flies easily escape back thru the tunnel which defeats the whole purpose of the âtrapâ. Iâll be ordering a different brand cause this one, isnât effective

Bye bye flys
It works!

Failed concept
First, beware that the trap needs a LOT of water in the bottom tray to activate the stinky bait. Second, the flies will not really make it in to the cone. Some will manage to squeeze in and drown in the bottom tray. Most flies will just fly around the bait, unable to find their way in. Bottom line: failed concept, very stinky, and huge footprint. Unfortunately as of now, I did not find any product that works better than the Rescue! Disposable Fly Traps.

Everything described int he ad comes in the box. Quite well constructed. I use this between my horse paddock and riding ring and it has significantly reduced annoying flies – it even catches some deer and horseflies (even though they are not attracted to scent). I have had to empty mine twice in the two weeks since I have had it hanging. I have purchased another so I can put it in another location and increase the catch area. It will be interesting to see if this helps to reduce populations over time.
