Literally saved my pets life
I have 6 sugar gliders and have always built my own cages out of rabbit wire and J-clips. One of my gliders was being bullied and had a stress related health issue, and I needed to separate him from his family group. Anyone who owns gliders knows that they are very prone to stress related issues and injuries. After a few days I decided I needed to split up my six gliders into two separate groups, so my glider wouldn’t die of self mutilation. This cage met my needs perfectly. At first I was scared to buy a premade cage for them, as I’ve always made my own, and there aren’t a lot of cages made specifically for sugar gliders. When I got this one in the mail and put it together (which was very easy) I immediately knew it was a good purchase. It’s fantastic that I can have two cages in one. I know my needs are very specific and not everyone needs two cages, but I’m very happy that this cage exists and that I own one.

Not very good quality unless I got a defective one
I see other people giving this good reviews so I donât know if I got a defective one but holes arenât lining up. Itâs bent in different places and a lot of the holes did not line up. We had to kind of rig it to go together because we didnât have time to try to take apart what we already got built and wait for Amazon to send another one because there are so many times where they ship something and it gets delayed or something and I needed it now. I would not recommend.

ramps and shelves aren’t as advertised/shown
1) Shelves and ramps/ladders are not as shown which was to be the cross metal wire for safe paws. It arrived as the same spacing as the floors and walls. We were not happy to have those as we choose this unit because of the safe paw wire. Now we have to revamp the cage in order to be sure our chinchillas are safe. Very disappointed. The picture from their ad is attached.2) The directions are lacking. Only pictures of vagueness. We are both very handy at figuring out how to put items together, but this was a bit much. The pictures show phiilp head bolts with nuts. What you get are allen head bolts of 2 different sizes, but you the consumer are to figure where those go on your own.3) There are several places where the wires are bent. We were concerned if we tried to straighten it out the wires would break. One section was a bit askew but we were able to make that line up to be bolted.4) Not sure if would recommend this unit as we are not sure this is as safe as we thought for our chinchillas.

What I needed
Exactly what I needed. There was a minor production flaw in one of the bars on the side of the cage so it bows out ever so slightly, but only noticable on close inspection and still provides a sturdy enclosure. Fairly easy to put together. I wish the doors were actually a bit smaller so I wouldnt have to worry about my little ones jumping out when I’m cleaning, but it does make access to make cleaning a breeze.

Nice cage for my chinchilla colonies
Pros- sturdy, large, good bar spacing for chinchilla, metal pan, nice latches, rolls well, attaches both cages, the screw holes line up well and predrilled nicely.Cons- no directions, now I am a handy girl so I figured it out just fine, but c’mon send at least a link to directions. This takes some time to put together. Started at 4:15 and ended at 8:30- I did cook and eat dinner in there too. I do wish the metal pans went higher up the sides so the poop doesn’t keep trickling out sides. About 5 bars were bent on delivery, I am not strong enough to bend back and really just cosmetic.I would order this again

Hard to put together. …like the other reviews say, as it came with NO instructions or pics…. But the five star review cuz its the best cage I’ve ever had. My gliders love it and I love the convenience of two cages stacked
