Fits my 55 perfectly!
I always worry that if I buy something like this, it won’t fit. This fit. I do need to weigh it down with small landscap papers because I don’t have clips bit it keeps the cats out and I can mist through it! I will drill holes for my misting system when it arrives. It’s good for that too because all you have to do is get the drill out. Awesome ð

I bought this product for my hamster’s 55-gallon tank, but unfortunately, the tank never arrived. So, I had to buy a 50-gallon tank from a local pet store. Surprisingly, the lid I bought was able to fit the 50-gallon tank perfectly, which was a relief because I didn’t have to return it. For those curious, my aquarium measurements are 48.5 inches in length, 12.5 inches in width, and 18.75 inches in height (123.2 x 31.75 x 47.6 cm). This product has definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and fit.

Fits 55-gal. tank- had to bend shorter sideâs âlipâ
Am upgrading my corn snakeâs enclosure from a 30-gallon to a 55-gallon. The new screen lid was too short to fit the longest edge of the 55-gallon tank.Revised from 1 star to 4 stars after bending the lidâs âlipâ along its shorter width to allow it to sit on all 4 top edges of the tank. So it was fixable..I also discovered the screen clips MUST be the larger, âheavy dutyâ size as the ones Iâd been using on the 30-gallon did not fasten over the new screen. The new ones do. I will have two heavy duty clips fastened on each longer side (four clips total) of the new screen.

great for a tank top
i got this to cover my 55 long gallon tank. i will say it doesn’t fit perfectly but not to the point my gecko can get out. it just barely is too small. it would be stable if it fit better but that’s my fault for not checking measurements. it looks very nice and it’s easy to just put on the top. it’s metal making it easy to clean as well. it’s light. despite the looseness it’s stable and feels safe.

I’d read some reviews that this lid was too long for some people’s 55 gallon, but it fit mine PERFECTLY! Like a glove – snug but easy to remove, very sturdy and much more reasonably priced than any of the screens I’ve seen in pet stores. Would highly recommend!

If yoyr 55gal. Aquarium have a frame around the top to hold the galss this grill is your vest pick cause its a lil wider than other grill on amazone and yill fit on it

Fits great! Little dent on the side but I could have done that when I was transporting it so I won’t give them heck for that but other than that..it’s what I need to set up my tank! Only four stats because I haven’t put a snake in there yet to see how it holds up.. I will update as soon as I see how well it keeps the bugger in! So far I recommend this topper! Shipping was super fast as well which I really appreciate!
