Customers say

Customers find the artificial plant realistic-looking and well-made, with leaves bigger than expected and perfect for 10-gallon tanks. Moreover, the plant is sturdy enough for reptiles to climb on and holds up well over time, offering good value for money. However, the suction capacity and stickiness receive mixed reviews – while some say the suction cup is very good and stays attached fairly well, others report it doesn’t hold up well and doesn’t adhere to glass.

    beautiful!
This fake ficus is soft to the touch and very full. There is no bad smell to it. It’s a high quality piece and a great addition to my daughter’s terrarium.

Overall happy. Especially because of the price.
Paid about $3.25 for the small, and for the price, I’m happy with what I got. However the suction could be better. At first they were great but after a few weeks, maybe three, they’ve come off a few times. I think it’s when my ball python climbs into them and moves around a lot. She’s still pretty small as she’s just a baby. Still palm sized when curled into a ball, maybe a little over an inch and a half at the widest part. Just to give an idea of her weight on the plant. Still, I do plan on buying one or two more since I’m upgrading her to a much larger tank – and therefore I need more decor. It’s cheaper than if I went to the reptile store I get my food at, and cheaper than Pet Co and Petsmart too. So even though the suction could be a lot better, the price is good and they look good too. The leaves haven’t fallen off/ripped, so that’s good. JUST BE SURE TO SOAK OVERNIGHT PRIOR TO PUTTING INTO TANK. You can smell the chemicals – which is extremely common and nothing to fret about. Just soak it in some soap and water and then wash off thoroughly with just water.

    Perfect for crested geckos!
These are realistic and look great in my crested gecko setups. No stiffness or odor. Will buy more!

    Solid purchase
For a fake plant it’s big and great quality. It sticks somewhat well to the glass of my lizard’s enclosure, though I have to re-stick it every so often. Not super often, but often enough. It’s a great edition to the tank, though!

    Not too bad
Exo Terra Plastic Terrarium Plant, Small, AmapalloThe ones I got look like they need to clean their injection mold. There’s quite a bit of flat excess plastic bits sticking out off of the stems and whatnot. Also I like that these are plastic and not silk, that’s why I bought them, but these have kind of a rough texture on the surface of the leaves that negates the whole easy to rinse clean factor which is why I prefer plastic over silk to begin with. Things stick to rough surfaces more. Also the texture of the leaves looks more fake being rough. The very similar Zoo Med ones are smooth plastic and didn’t have all the excess plastic where it didn’t belong so kind of preferring those even though they are a few dollars more. Not sure, maybe the rough texture will suit your needs or perhaps has some purpose like for little frogs to get a grip on or something, or perhaps to retain more water drops for critters that will only drink from what drips off the leaves? Personally I have a snake who likes to poop in her water bowl that she then continues to swim in repeatedly while doing a triathlon around the terrarium so I’m interested in low maintenance cleaning and disinfecting. And she climbs on, in, and through this Exo Terra one and and the Zoo Med ones just the same even though they are just meant to be some background cover and she’s twice as long as the vine. Garter snakes are like the deranged kitten personalities of the snake world. All in all these are not too bad and really a great deal for the money, personally I just prefer the other smooth surface ones I mentioned.*EDIT*The small manufacturing defects I mentioned above aren’t really noticeable hanging in the terrarium unless you examine them like a QC inspector. And my garter snake has taken a strange liking to them for some reason. She climbs in this and the similar Zoo Med one I personally like more but she actually curls up and sleeps under this one even though there’s no hide or anything else of note in that area, so I can’t get rid of it and bumped it up to 5 stars.

    Great Fake Plant
This is my dumpy frog’s favorite part of their tank, save maybe one other thing. It’s strong and grips the glass well, especially with the help of some moisture to add surface tension. The leaves are a good size, and my frogs have no trouble grabbing onto them, as they aren’t silk and are more like soft plastic. They look nice, and are super easy to remove and clean. They provide nice cover from light, heat, and prying eyes for the frogs, and they tend to sleep there, assumedly because it feels safe. Mine are not full grown, so I’ll have to see how it works when they are full sized, but right now they are just shy of 3”, and they fit perfectly between the leaves and ‘branches’. 5/5

Sometimes comes w a great suction cup, sometimes not
Got this for my juvenile corn snake. Material is soft plastic with no sharp ends or exposed wire. The suction cup is very strong; Chi is able to climb on and curl around the vine without it coming off the glass. This plant is easy to clean, looks great, and, most importantly, is safe for Chi. 5 stars, will be buying more!In comparison, the Fluker’s vine I bought had multiple pieces of sharp exposed wire. It is made of stiff plastic and stiff fabric that smells strongly of chemicals. The two suction cups have metal hooks to hang the vines on, adding more metal ends that could hurt my snake, and their suction power is weak. I’d have given it zero stars if I could’ve.[UPDATE: May2022] You may get a plant with a strong suction cup, or you may get one that barely sticks. The first plant I bought sticks perfectly; it supports Chi’s weight and is even hard for me to budge loose. Unfortunately, the suction cup for second one I bought can barely hold its on weight, let alone the snake. I’ll have to reapply it 2-3 times before it stays, and that’s even with adding a lil moisture to it. I’m really disappointed and am looking for replacement suction cups.

Très belle fausse plante, fixation par ventouse sur la vitre, au top. Je recommande ce produit. rendu assez réaliste et facile à nettoyer.
