Central hinges allow partial opening of the enclosure without having to remove any fixtures, thereby reducing stress to the inhabitants and the risk of escape. Great product
Very heavy duty, very easy to install and not super heavy. My cats have gotten on the lid multiple times and it has had no damage, keeping me tank inhabitants safe! Itâs slightly inconvenient to open and close sense it is a huge door but itâs a small price to pay for the safety of my critters. It fits perfect on my 75gal tank and folds in half for easy storage when itâs not in use. Looks clean and professional and functions as advertised! I recommend this brand and item to all in need of a tank lid!

Thinking About Getting This??
Hello there I just want to start opff i have a Aqueon 75 Gallon tank and this does fit it fully but it does have a little hump due to there being a big bar in the center of my tank but when i got this i planned on modifying it, which you can see. I cut it in half and now i have two screens one for a backup but the reason for this is so my heat lamp can go on the left and my fx6 filter hoses can go on the right instead of taking out the hose every time just to get the turtle out. This screen is sturdy and nice and i have an extra one. But if your worried about the reviews and the dents people have recieved dont worry i got mine and it was fine and even if there is a few bends you can easily move it back into place with some strength thats what i had to do when i started to cut mine but it went back into place like easliy and works wonders. (the scuff in the images are from me using a hedge cutter to cut it into two)

Fits the lizard cage perfectly. I know he’ll be safe. Product came well packaged and undamaged. The hinge in the middle makes it easy for feeding without having to take the lights off the top of tank.

Works how intended
I got this for my red eared slider in a 75 gallon tank. He decided he wanted to start jumping out of his tank (hasnât done that in the 6 years iâve had him), so in return he got a covered tank 🙂 I definitely agree with the other reviews â the middle support bar of the tank prevents the lid from laying flat. It kind of sucks and looks funny, but it still does its purpose. I supposed if it really bothered you, you could cut or file down the metal. Itâs not that serious though.

Good lid, and if youâre using a 20 gallon long, you can put a gentle heat lamp on one end of the lid while lifting the other end of the lid to add food and water, which makes for a nice mini chick brooder. The hinges make all the difference, since you donât need to lift the entire lid off.

I ordered this for my 20 long glass aquarium where my hamster lives. It makes it very easy to flip the lid up and take the ham out of her cage to play, cuddle, or run in her ball. It’s convenient to not have to remove the entire lid with both hands and find a place to put it. It’s great for feeding, moving furniture, and made it easy to install a hanging hammock from the lid without making it impossible to open the cage while she was sleeping in it. It’s pricier than a place screen cover but the features made it worth it for me, and it seems a little sturdier than the plain cage cover that I purchased and ended up returning. I like the extra heft of this lid that makes it very difficult for her to lift. If she gets into a position with good leverage on top of her house in the corner of the cage, I have seen her lift the edge but she is not able to lift it enough to squeeze through. I am pleased with my purchase and hope it lasts a long time. I even paid extra shipping to get it sooner.

Sloppy fit. Mediocre construction.
I bought this for a 20 Long aquarium. I wanted the lid that hinged side to side but was not able to find one available. The top is ok but it is wide front to back; about 1/2″ wider than the aquarium rim, which makes the fit sloppy. Side to side is ok. In general, I don’t like the construction.

Is exactly as pictured. Would definitely recommend. Only thing to note is if using a converted aquarium (with glass holder, plastic centre strip to hold aquarium top glass) may have to remove or the screen wonât sit flat.

Works on my 75 gallon , lucky my tank doesn’t have a support bar, so it fits perfectly!. I also love how it can easly fold in half for easy storage.

The product is good, but mine arrived damaged. It was easily fixable with some pliers, but I would rather not have to had to fix it. Fits my 75 gallon perfectly. I plan on buying another for my other 75 gallon.
