Exo Terra Thermostats should be set according to the needs of the animals. Thoroughly research the preferred optimum temperature (POTR) and humidity range for your specific reptile, so you can create the correct temperature gradients and humidity inside the terrarium to allow your reptiles to thermoregulate and maintain their moisture levels. With the Exo Terra Thermostats you can create a well-controlled 24-hour heating/humidifying system that allows you to maintain the required temperature and humidity conditions similar to those found in desert and tropical environments. The Thermostats will also help to prevent overheating and undercooling during hot summer days or cold winter nights.

I don’t even know
Maybe I’m just dumb and not using it right. I’m using it with a CHE. I was using the pulse function and it wouldn’t go above 81 degrees. I had the thermostat set at 87. I tried using the dimming function and it wouldn’t get above 84. Basically I wasted $73UpdateI was just dumb. Got it going and it works so well. 5 stars

Great product
This is the most affordable dimming thermostat available. I own one for each enclosure and will not buy anything else. I’ve had them since they came out and the temps hold as expected.

Worked as expected⦠almost.
The Exo Terra 300 watt pulse proportional thermostat worked well with the ceramic heat emitters and the Exo Terra 16 watt heat mat that I plugged into it. However, it would not hold temperature with a deep heat projector. Mode switch set to dim. Further research shed light on other instances related specifically to the 300 watt pulse proportional version only, failing to hold temperature with deep heat projectors. Great product, just not the way I need it set up.

I just started to switch all my thermostats over to these as they are really great priced and are so easy to work and set up !The temperature control is great and has kept all my snakes safe and warm, I will continue to replace my other thermostats with these, they are very sturdy have knocked a few and they have never become damaged or stopped working and they are so so easy to use that even I can work them!Very happy with these and such a great price whatâs not to love
Teron Wolf –
Seems to work ok, but itâs finicky to get the temps right because the dial is tiny and not very precise.

Definitely worth the money
