Great for Senior Horses
We bought this for our senior Thoroughbred gelding who’s 30 yrs old and benefits from supplements aimed at cardiovascular and joint health, as this old guy has issues with both. This isn’t the first oil supplement we’ve given him so in comparison to other brands, Vitality Boost by Equipure is on par in terms of ingredient list and quality of sources. We had a feeling he’d like the flavor because carrots are one of his favorite treats. We mix it in with his grain and he either loves it, or doesn’t notice, because eating grain is still the highlight of his day.We’ve only been using the oil for a couple weeks, so I can’t say for sure that using this oil has improved his coat or helped reduce inflammation in his joints, but I can say that he looks good and healthy and keeps up with the younger horses in the pasture, so, so far so good. 5 stars for the high-quality ingredients.

Good quality but pricey
Good quality oil, but price is a little steep for the size of the bottle. Both my horses ate it without any fuss, and my gelding often thinks new supplement are poison, so thats a win. Unfortunately due to the price, I will probably not purchase it at full price.

Improvement is Mobility and Reduced Pain
This is super convenient to use. We’ve just been adding one pump into our horse’s sweet grain every day and she gobbles it right up. She loves her sweet grain and she has not problem taking this supplement. You get a huge jug for the price. The pump is super convenient and its easy to use. My Aunt’s horse has been on this for almost a month now and she’s been getting around so much better now than she was before. She’s in her mod-late 20’s and has had mobility issues. We recently out her on a few different supplements and she’s had such a big improvement. I really think this, along with her other supplements, have helped a lot. Just stick with it and you’ll see improvement. Patches is one happier (and healthier) horse.

High Quality Oil
Palatability: My young Friesian/Percheron Cross mare loved this, my 20yr old quarter horse gelding was not a huge fan, but he would eat it eventually overnight in his mash (normally eats his mash right away).Outcome: Good shine on my young horse after 1 month and helped keep her weight up. My old man i only tried for 1 week, i did notice he seemed to have extra stamina/drive to work when on it. He wasnât as flexible as he is on camelina/olive oil mix, but the extra boost to want to work and not dragging his feet as much was significant. Really picking himself up was a noticeable difference. It did not make him hot minded.I usually give my quarter horse ExcelEQ Proelite to help with stiff shoulders/muscles, faster warm up from 15 minutes to 5 minutes and have been really happy with it.Pricing: i haven’t seen carrot oil and sunflower oil added before, so those being fancy additions makes this a higher quality oil. Pricing seems comparable to other high quality oils. Note you are getting half a gallon here.You can get straight flax seed oil cheaper, but then donât have the sunflower and carrot oil additions.Shipping: well packaged, no leaks. Pump kept extra safe w/ foam tube as pictured. Very impressed.

Convenient pump delivered Flaxseed supplement
This is a convenient way to feed a fat supplement. It is palatable mixed with grain for my one growing horse. Flaxseed oil has proven benefits, but it seems a bit pricey for only a half-gallon

Excellent oil! 90% flax seed oil! Flax seed in any form is great for horses. Flax is not easy to grow and process so you always have to expect it to be expensive but I have found the benefits generally are worth it. Currently priced at about $40 seems high for the size of the bottle but the benefits make it worth it. I have one old guy who gets some type of oil daily to maintain his body condition and he is very picky. He loves this oil. I gave a pump to all my horses and it was unanimous, everyone loved it. Apparently carrot oil is a thing!The only negative was the packaging. It was very difficult to get the top off and the pump doesn’t reach the bottom so they threw in a straw attachment that needs to be cut to use. The slight inconvenience of the packaging does not take away anything from this great product.This is a really good, concentrated flax oil supplement that everyone loved the flavor of. I highly recommend!

Convenient pump, seems to be good quality, but too pricey!
I am always on the lookout for supplements that help my horses’ overall vitality. They do really well on oils, so this product seemed to be the perfect fit. They all eat it readily when tossed on top of their rations and have never questioned it. After giving them 2 pumps a day per the instructions, I can’t say that I haven’t seen it contribute to a beautiful shine on them.The tall pump is a huge win, and easily clears my large 12 to 16 quart fence feeders so I don’t have to awkwardly lug around the jug come feeding time. Just pump twice, and on to the next with no dripping mess.While I give the quality and results 5 stars so far, the size of the container is tiny. Paying $50 for a half gallon of mixed oils is just not a great value, being way too expensive for the amount you get. You can easily get a whole gallon of rice brain oil with similar effects for $30 instead, which is why I unfortunately marked this down to 3 stars.
