Perfect for brooder
Works exactly as described! The Enhon Chicken Coop Heater keeps my chicks warm and cozy without any fuss. The smart temperature control is super convenient, and the 5-ft cable gives plenty of flexibility for placement. Setup was quick, and it heats up efficientlyâperfect for chicks, ducklings, or even small pets. Simple, reliable, and does the job well.

Great for my ball python
I have a 40 gallon terrarium for my ball python and it works great. Able to control the temp even with it sitting on the outside of the enclosure. Haven’t had it long enough though for any type of failure so im gonna get another one as a back up just incase

Worked great for 3 days then heating element died
Plugged in on 4/24 for my litter of puppies. Heating element was dead morning of 4/28 and blowing cold air on all the pups. One pup dead, the rest critical. Very upset, the blowing cold air was devastating to the pups

My parrot LOVES this!
I was looking fir a portable heater for my 43 yo double yellow Amazon, because we travel between two houses. The one Iâve been using requires extensive rigging to set up..I was concerned about putting this over his sleeping cage because itâs small and he canât get far away if he gets overheated. So i put it over his day cage. The first day, my husband noticed him sitting under it, cooing, stretching, and fluffing his feathers to pull the heat in.After testing it over his large cage I felt it was safe to use over his small one. Itâs perfect and itâs very portable. However, I like it so much I think Iâll buy a second and keep one at each house.Very happy and strongly recommend

Decent heater for a small space
I ordered a twin pack of these for my chicken coop and used both of them in 1 coop. These supply about the same heat as a hair dryer on low speed. When I checked the coop after sundown, the outside temperature was in the 30s and the coop was in the 50s. I have a large coop and didn’t have the expectation that the heaters would have the inside temperature of the coop hot. I was only wanting to make sure that my chickens wouldn’t freeze to death. For the size of the heaters, they function fine for me. I think the materials seems sturdy for their intended use. They were a little smaller than I had envisioned, but are worth the money because they are accomplishing the task I had intended. I like that the light can be turned on or off, unlike the heat bulb that I was using before. I haven’t used the timer function yet, so I can’t comment on it. I do like that they have a light bulb base because I think I could probably use them in my clamp lights and possibly direct more heat down to the chickens. I have them hanging in my coop, so the chickens have the ability to get under them and stay warm.Overall I am pleased with them and depending on how they hold up over the winter, I will probably consider more of them in the future if I have a need.

not as effective as i thought it’d be
not as effective as i thought it would be, i suppose i need one of those bigger lamps with a red bulb for greater coverage. This only blows in a single spot and would work better in a much smaller coop for sure. Works fine though. the timer setting is very convenient

Worked Great!
We had an exceptionally cold winter in Florida and sone late chicks hatching had me worried. I do not like leaving a warming lamp on in the barn. I have tried a few different plates and pads, but these may be my favorite. I hung them right over their roosts, set a timer, and forgot about them. They give off warmth but not heat – I mean they do not truly get HOT like some of the other things I mentioned that make me worry about burning my animals up. They are also light and therefore easy to hang.

So far so good
I love his heater. I have a small coop with three hens and we’re approaching zero temperatures this winter so I had to get something.. In the picture the light is on but you can also turn it off. I love that you can control the temperature. I have it set at 68°F which is the lowest setting. With the draft and open side door it keeps the coop at 55°F when it’s near zero outside. I could make it warmer with the settings but if you know anything about chickens they don’t like going from cold to hot or hot to cold. So it’s best to keep it at moderate temperature. The heater is basically a heat light with a blower attached. I’m giving 5 stars because it works great and it has really good control settings. You don’t get that with just a regular heat light.. plus there’s no fire hazard with this. Highly recommend, even if you have a large coop with more birds..
