Ive ordered the oxbow 9lb off amazon a few times. Quality has been getting poor. Lots of brown hay and some moths. Eaton pet has better quality hay. Healtheir for my rabbits digestion. I would recommended giving Eaton Pet a try.

Pig Pig Loves!
Pig Pig the Guinea Pig gives 5 star, 2 thumbs and lots of squeals over this! Only issue is it’s a little dusty.. I’ve only bought this 2 times, this is my second time around, first box lasted us well over 2 months. This second box was a little moist feeling and the top layer was a little brown and old looking but overall so far my pig loves it!This seems to be better quality than Walmart’s Hay and it last WAY longer even though both are the same amount/weight. Walmart brand is always full of moss, (Spanish Moss) and its literally left over junk but was cheaper than Tractor Supply at the time. Now that I found this, I don’t plan to go back to Walmart OR Tractor Supply ($25+ for 6lbs!)

Rabbits refuse to eat this stuff
While the packaging is well made and the hay looks clean cut, most of it was a strange color (like grayish) with a stale odor and neither one of my rabbits will touch it.We had previously been using Oxbow Timothy hay and they gobbled it up but I was looking for something else with less shake and this product (via packaging description in photos/reviews) âlookedâ like a better quality product. But if my buns wonât eat it⦠like at all, then what does that tell You? Something is off. Canât return or get a refund thanks to seller/amazon policy so Iâm stuck with it.

UPDATE:Seller contacted me and issued a refund. If you have any problems with your hay, do not hesitate to reach out, they were super responsive and responsible. I respect their attitude even though could not stand their product.Never left a comment for hay, this is the WORST Iâve ever bought. My heart was bleeding when I saw the the grass was stuck within my bunnyâs eyes. The package has lots of spike grass(donât know what it called, def not Timothy and should not be upart of the hay). Some stick in my hand while I was picking grass for my bunny but I didnât pay enough attention at that time. Then one day I when I came back from work I saw my bunny couldnât open his eyes. After many tries, it turn out to be that part of grass got stuck in him eyes. I could not image if I didnât realize on time. If you love your pet, avoid it at all cost. I regret so much.
