This book is very useful for me as I attempt to train 9 month old Benjie and 7 month old Charlie. Iâve read a lot of dog training books, but this one stands out because it goes beyond the basics and really focuses on what dogs need mentally and emotionallyânot just physically. The enrichment ideas are simple but so effective, and I noticed positive changes in my dogs behavior.I love that the methods are vet-approved, positive, and completely free of harsh discipline. Each exercise indicates what type of dog it is for and what it will do for your dog. I didn’t like the AI illustrations that started each chapter, though, and I would have loved to see a few dog photos. But overall, you can get a lot of inspiration from these pages.

Questo libro può essere un valido aiuto, di solito io faccio un percorso da un addestratore comportamentista, ma in certi casi credo che un manuale del genere possa essere altrettanto utile. Ho iniziato a leggerlo da poco, ma ho già notato che è pieno di validi consigli, in parte che già conoscevo in parte nuovi per me.
