Good trainer.
It’s winter and the pond is frozen here, but that didn’t halt training. Maggie is a few months old and has worked a bit with live birds, bit her retrieve is still lacking. We’ll be putting these ‘birds’ to good ise in the off-season as we practice getting her to bring the bird BACK!The material of these dummies is a hard foam (I think). It’s nice because Maggie can practice retrieving the birds without sinking her teeth into them. She has a softer mouth than we thought. Maybe it’s because these a re bird-shaped that she carries them differently? She was putting holes in our normal training bumpers, bit she’s been doing well with these.
