  1. HOW IS THIS SO EXPENSIVE?

Would give 10 stars if possible
First thing I’d like to note is quantity; mayhaps this was just a one-off, but for me, though ordering 6 of this chubby lil guys I received 8 in the mail. All alive. All very healthy and active. Though I got more than expected, this was a delightful surprise to me as I didn’t purchase them for food but rather to breed and feed the offspring to my gecko, on occasion. And though there were 8 there were plenty of food still in the container, still being munched on when I opened it up. Worm chow is what they got specifically and it works great for them.If you’re getting them for feeders only: all of the worms came very large, some only days away from pupation, meaning they were far too big for me to feed to my leopard gecko. I’d assume they’d be too big for a lot of small geckos or other smaller insectivorous animals. This wasn’t an issue for me, as I planned to breed them. But if you have a small animal and are expecting to be able to feed these guys right away, only 1 or 2 would be the appropriate size and able to be fed.If you’re getting them to breed/as pets: for those who don’t know, these worms are tabacco hornworms who are completely harmless to humans, and only really pose a threat to your crops. That said, in the right conditions, they become the most gorgeous sphynx moths ever. They require lots of warmth, a steady supply of food (eggplant, tomato, peppers or worm chow) and deep, moist substrate with some hides and lots of space. In these conditions the worms will dig and become pupa.As for the worms themselves; I only have good things to say. Healthy. Great eaters. All alive. All made it successfully to pupation and adulthood. The moths breed easily without complications. They don’t stink unless dead. They last very long and are relatively hardy lil buggers. Absolutely no complaints, they are amazing.10/10, 5 stars, and if I for some reason stop breeding them I will definitely buy this exact set again. Cuties.

    Great feeder insects
Arrived quickly and in good condition. All arrived alive. Seller included extras to account for potential losses. Some are smaller than expected but happy with the slight size variation as they tend to grow fast. Very happy with the quality and value.

    Happy and impressed
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very happy and impressed!! They arrived a day earlier all alive and heathy!! A few small, few medium and a few large which I like since I get them for my juvenile bearded dragon!! Although he will eat the bigger ones I feel more comfortable, giving him the smaller ones. I wish there was somewhere where I can ask for them smaller!! Anyway so very happy with my purchase I will be ordering from here again!! OK so I had to come back here because I ordered more hornworms. I ordered the 18 small ones and they came small but that is exactly what I wanted so they had time to grow and last for a while. I will keep buying my hornworms from here always what a great price as well and they always come a little early.

    Microscopic compared to prior orders
I’ve ordered these in the past and never received them so microscopic!! I hope they grow quickly enough and don’t die off but I’m nervous cuz like I said, I’ve never received them this tiny! They are about the size of my thumb nail in length…

    Alive and delivered early.
I received my order 4 days early. All but one hornworm made it. My isopods ate the dead one. My crested gecko loves the hornworms and she’s happy. Which makes me happy. I will be reordering from this company.

Horn worms that grow super fast.
When they arrived they were 2” or so. I fed my dragon a couple ever other day. I fed him crickets a few days in a row and a few days later I went to get a horn worm and I was shocked. They had grew up fast! They went from the size of a big meal worm to bigger than my finger in literally a week. He would not mess with them when they got big. So if you get any feed them quick.

Bigger than stated, but great item!
Great. Slightly bigger than their usual mediums I get. So I can only use about half my order. But they were healthy. Go smaller than you need. They grow FAST. Like within hours or a few days.
