Enhances UVB & Light Reflection: The reptile light fixture focuses the light emitted by the bulb, ensuring even distribution across the entire illumination area. The polished interior surface greatly enhances light reflection, minimizing losses of both light and UVB. This reflective effect optimizes the efficiency of the light source, promoting the health and growth of reptiles
Material Selection: It is manufactured with an integrated all-aluminum structure, which is rust-proof and ensures excellent heat dissipation performance. Max 100W: Each socket can accommodate 160W reptile heat lamps, suitable for ceramic heat bulbs, UVB bulbs, solar bulbs, and other reptile lighting
Independent Switches: The power cord of the bearded dragon light fixture is equipped with two independent switches, allowing you to control the heat lamp and UVB lamp as needed, providing a comfortable temperature and lighting environment for reptiles
High-Temperature Label: When the surface temperature of the reptile heat lamp exceeds 113°F, the triangular warning label on the lamp will turn red. This label can also be used to verify if the ceramic heat lamp is functioning properly
Quick Heat Dissipation: The reptile heat lamp features multiple ventilation holes on the top for effective heat dissipation, preventing bulb damage from overheating and reducing the frequency of bulb replacements, thereby saving replacement costs

    Works as intended
Good quality double lamp. This is a popular design for terrariums so you can have a heat lamp and a UVB lamp together in one fixture. It functions as intended, with a separate switch and power plugin for each lamp, so you could plug them into separate timers if you wanted them to run on different schedules. It’s extremely easy to use, just screw the light bulb in and turn it on.The listed price is reasonable, maybe a tad bit on the high side but the quality is worth it.

Solid option for reptile lighting, with a few minor trade-offs
I recently tried the dual reptile light fixture with switches and here’s a breakdown:What works well:1. Dual light heads with independent switches give good flexibility to control two bulbs separately.. handy for mixed-species setups or separate day/night lighting zones.2. The build feels reasonably sturdy. The metal fixture has a solid weight, and the cord and plug look durable.3. Installation was straightforward: I mounted it across my terrarium rim and had both heads aligned easily.4. Provides good coverage both bulbs combined light up a large portion of the tank without huge dark spots. What could be better:1. The fixture is fairly large and takes up more rim space than some slim models, which may limit lid or screen placement on smaller tanks.2. The switches are simple toggle types, which are fine, but there’s no dimming or advanced timer control built-in. If you want gradual dawn/dusk or automation you’ll need an external timer.Verdict:If you’re looking for a dependable dual-head lighting fixture for reptiles and are willing to supply your own bulbs and timer setup, this model delivers good value. If you have a very compact tank or need built-in dimming/timer features, you might want a more premium unit.

    Durable and well made
I got this light for my tortoise. He needs daylight in the day and just a red light for warmth at night. Previously I had to use two separate lamps. This allows me to put one bulb of each type in. I love the switch on the cord – no more having to completely unplug to adjust. You just flip one switch off and the other on and you’re all set. Such a convenience! Works just as described. Materials are thick enough that it doesn’t get very hot to the touch and cord is well wrapped and seems pretty safe. Great value for the cost.

Solid Lamp Setup — Just One Mystery Part
This is a well-made lamp. I like that each bulb can be plugged in independently — I use a ceramic bulb for heat and a full-spectrum bulb, and plugging them into smart plugs lets me control them on timers. The only thing that frustrates me is the curled-up piece of rubber that came with it. I can’t figure out what it’s for, and the listing only shows an image with a “21-inch” label but no explanation.Pros:• Durable all-aluminum construction• Independent switches for each bulb• Works great with smart plugs and timers• Provides strong, even light coverageCons:• Unexplained rubber piece in the package (not described in listing)Verdict:A great dual-lamp setup that’s sturdy, functional, and ideal for reptile enclosures — just wish the included parts were better explained.

Perfect Dual Fixture for My Reptile Setup!
I’m really impressed with this dual reptile light fixture! It fits both my 150W heat bulb and my UVB bulb perfectly with no issues at all. The build quality feels solid, and it holds the bulbs securely without overheating or wobbling. I also love the convenience of having two separate sockets—it makes setting up a basking spot and UVB exposure so much easier in one compact fixture. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a reliable lighting solution for your reptile habitat!

    Great, flexible fixture
Super happy with this light fixture. The depth is great – I’ve had fixtures in the past that were shallower and limited with the bulbs they could accommodate. This is very flexible and allows multiple sizes. I also like having two bulbs in the same fixture that are independently controlled to allow adjustments on the fly. The only thing I would change about this is i wish it had some spring anchors to attach to the top of the enclosure. Definitely not a big deal, though, and overall, very pleased with this.

  7. Brian S,

Nice light fixture, cords are shorter than I needed though
This light fixture seems really nice, with ceramic baffles around the sockets for heat disipation. Each light has its own on and off switch, and it supports a total of 200 watts, which would throw off more heat than my turtle would need! Sadly due to the height of my tank, it’s stand, the basking area, etc. the cords are too short for my purposes and will require extension cords (the light this was meant to replace had cords nearly 14 inches longer) I like that this light came with spiral loom for cord management. I don’t want to find short extensions cords, so I will be using this on the turtles play pen I am building. All in all I really like the fixture, its size, the placement of the switches, etc. – I just wish the cords were longer for my specific use case.

    Sturdy dual light reptile fixture
This reptile light fixture is sturdy and well made with a dual independent bulb housing. Each bulb has its own power cord and switch which makes it a functional solution for my vivarium. It is made of aluminum and feels solid. It is somewhat bulky but gets the job done. It is a good value for the $27 list price at the time of acquisition.

This works almost perfectly on top of a 20 gallon tank for a ball python.Previously I only had a single ceramic heat lamp on top and a desk lamp shining in for daytime light as well. Now I’ve got the UVB bulb from the lamp and bulb from my ceramic heat lamp in one fixture.Of course it’s perfect that the bulbs can be turned on and off separately. The heat lamp stays on all the time (except when cleaning the enclosure) and the light is on about a 12 hours on and 12 hours off cycle. The fixture itself gets quite hot so I have to be very careful when using the hanger to remove it from the lid.Since the fixture sits directly on top of the mesh top of the terrarium, the two cords are often resting directly against the hot metal fixture. I know I can hang this in place instead but I do not currently have a stand for the fixture. I may be able to gently clip the two cords together to avoid this issue but I would have appreciated a way to use this as is right out of the box without modifications. It works well in my enclosure and allows me to have a bright side and a shaded side while keeping the enclosure at the right temperature too.

I love the idea of this light fixture. Not only because it’s more compact than having two separate fixtures, but it does a fantastic job at being so versatile. The unit feels well-made, and the bulb sockets are ceramic, so they will handle the heat. Each socket is controlled separately and can handle up to 100W max (each!).What I love about this is the fact that it can be set up is so many configurations:- Ceramic heater + night bulb.- Dual daylight bulbs.- A day bulb and light bulb. You get the idea!Really, the only “problem” is that it doesn’t have an integrated timer, but that’s not really a big deal because the on/off switch is mechanical and works well with external timers. That means, you can turn the lamps on (via the switch), then plug them into whatever timer(s) you’ve got going. This is vastly better than light switches that are electronic and basically don’t turn back on when the power has been cut out (unless they are designed to). Finally, I appreciate that an integrated hook is provided, so you don’t have to place this fixture directly on top of an enclosure screen. At the time of this review, this dual light fixture is listed for $43.53. To be honest, you could probably also use this as a plant grow light fixture, too!
