Customers say
Customers find the aquarium decoration looks nice and is perfect for 10-gallon tanks, with fish enjoying swimming through it. However, the quality receives mixed reviews, with some finding it adequate while others describe it as cheap. Moreover, the product comes broken in many pieces and has sharp, rough edges that could harm fish. Additionally, customers report a strong chemical smell and note that the pieces are smaller than expected.

Absolutely beautiful

Larger than expected
These aren’t particularly huge, but they are a bit longer and bigger than I was expecting considering this is a two pack. We are still cycling so no fish yet but I believe they will make great hidey holes! This is in a 20 gallon, it would be cramped to use both in say, our 5 gallon.

Love them, but…
The pieces are nice and small for my 5 gallon tank. I only have 2 main issues with them though.1. There are sharp edges. If you have a betta or guppies with really flowy fins, it could tear them up a bit. I just simply filed down the edges to prevent any injury.2. There was a crack in one of the pieces. This could have been caused during transit, but one of the thinner pieces was cracked. It was a good thing it was along the bottom so I just made sure to burry it a bit in the substraight.Other than that, it’s a really good product and my betta loves hiding in them.

BUYER BEWARE – VERY SMALL HOLES – NOT SAFE FOR ANY FISH!
I used this as a cave for my new corydora catfish to hide in while in quarantine. They’ve been doing amazing for weeks, yet today I count 5 corys out of 6. I move everything in the tank to look for it, and can’t find it anywhere. This was the ONLY decoration in their tank. As I was about to take the log out fully from the water, I decided to flip it over on all sides to look more carefully at it. After flipping a few times, me and my boyfriend didn’t see anything. But then, I saw a small fin peaking out from it. We turned it over and realized one of the corys head was hard stuck in one of the log crevices, and even shaking the log gently several times didn’t get him out but we finally managed to. VERY LUCKY FOR OUR LITTLE GUY, he seems to be ok but has definitely been injured. Honestly I don’t know what I was thinking, usually I’m very careful when it comes to things that living creatures use. I did think when first receiving these that the holes were a bit too small but thought it was fine. In the end, it was not fine. There are tons of decorative cave options for fish, that have clearer and wider exit holes for them. Do not risk your fish.

These pieces have been used
I would have been happier if when I opened the box and lifted out the log pieces, there hadn’t been a lot of tiny aquarium pebbles falling out.I bought this new–I thought, obviously not.As far as the logs themselves go, pretty cheap looking, poorly painted, although it might look ok once it is in an aquarium setting. But since it appears someone already did that, then returned it, I have some doubts. Now if I did keep it, I know I would have to thoroughly clean the pieces to prevent any contamination.

Nice for fish to swim through and hide.
These are very nice for my fish to swim through and hide in the tank. The price was good too. Realistic looking.

Injured fish
I don’t recommend this for your Betta fish my fish got stuck in one of the holes and got injured. While the product itself is nice, there are some down falls for bigger fish who like to hide. On further examination we’ve noticed that the inside of the holes were sharp in there so before buying I would think about that.

Ordered the item and it was broken on arrival. I returned it per the process and have not heard anything since. This was nearly 2 months ago.
