Works really good and I havenât had any issues yet. The water flow is strong, the noise level is moderate, itâs kinda big but not that bad. Itâs great for what you pay

Strong air bubbles
Pretty strong pump for my 1-gallon tank, but it gives nice bubbles that the fish like. I have to turn it off at night so the fish can rest, though. The air adjustment is tricky, sometimes it works, sometimes I have a hard time getting the air bubbles out.

Defective and Poorly Designed â Not Worth It! ð
I bought the DOMICA Small Aquarium Filter hoping for a quiet, efficient solution for my small tank. Instead, I got a noisy, ineffective, and ultimately defective product. Within a few hours, the motor started making loud grinding noises and eventually stopped working altogether.The suction cups barely hold the unit in place, and the water flow is either too weak to be useful or too strong, causing stress for smaller fish. The filter media also seems minimal and low-quality â it does little to keep the water clean.Even worse, when it did work, it produced constant micro-bubbles that clouded the tank. This is not something I would trust in any aquarium, let alone one with sensitive fish and shrimp.Overall, this filter feels cheap and unreliable. Avoid it unless you want to deal with frustration and potentially harm your aquatic pets. â¹ï¸

This thing is powerful! I’m saving it for when I get a bigger tank. Not meant for less than 5 gallon tanks.

You get what you pay for.
Low cost filter. I have had this filter for 7 days. Simple to set up, quiet, moves and filters water quickly. Aeration worked great till the 7th day. Water flow continues but aeration quit working, possibly clogged? may end up running another air pump for aeration. Hoping to get longer use.

The 02 hose gums up fast, I need replacement sponges to purchase for this filter.
Honestly, this thing is perfect for my 5 gal. I run this and another 10 gal filter with this sponge filter.Iâd like to know where I can buy the sponges that come with them? My only complaint is, I canât find replacement sponges, and I use the 02 hose to add 02 to the tank and it gums up fast. So I changed to RO water, and now it doesnât gum up and stop working. So far itâs still going, with these changes.
