Handy, but leaky
I’m disappointed that this leaks around the handle, because it’s otherwise a very helpful tool. The leakage is minor, and in all honesty if I’m washing the dogs I’m probably going to end up soaked anyway, but it’s still disappointing to see.Other than that, it’s great, you just pour some dog shampoo into the canister and then adjust the dial on top to determine if you want clean or soapy water. My dogs are not big bath fans and require a lot of wrangling, so being able to wash, lather, and rinse them without having to fumble around with bottles is great. It probably doesn’t need all of the ten nozzle patterns that it provides, but maybe switching to half vertical split fan mode is what your pup demands, I won’t judge.I used mine directly with my garden hose so I didn’t have any need for the 1/2 adapter set provided. The silicon brush is nice, I used it after soaping up the dogs and it worked up a nice lather, though I had hoped it would help release more hair than it did. The metal brush does do a nice job with hair cleanup once they’re dry. It is, however, very small, so effectiveness may vary based on the size of your dog.

A Wash, a Rinse⦠and a Stuck Hose Twist
While the shampoo dispenser on this hose attachment is incredibly useful, there’s one major issue with it: I can’t get it off of my hose without a lot of effort an added tools!It’s great for washing my dogs and not having to juggle a shampoo bottle while I scrub them down, especially since they HATE getting wet. It helps turn a two-person job into an almost one-person job with just a little help here and there. The water pressure is good considering how bad my water pressure is to begin with, and it makes it easy to soap up and spray down my dogs.That said, once this went onto my hose it refused to come off. I had to have someone stronger come and help, and even he had to use tools to eventually get it off. If I had a dedicated hose just for dog washing, this wouldn’t be an issue, but this is the hose I use for everything, and I can’t have one attachment live on it permanently.Overall it’s useful, and it at least feels sturdy, but the inability to remove it is a major no-go in my book.

Makes bathing horses a breeze.
First one we had leaked awful and had to be returned. They had a new one shipped out asap and wonderful customer service. Easy to use and nozzle has options as needed to bath animals.

too far to drop off return crazy and upset
bought shower hose to connect to his one. it does not fit and I cannot send it back. the drop off location is 45 minutes drive! crazy! I am stuck with useless item because I cannot use this in shower. waste of money.. promised free return only to go 45 minutes drive to drop that thing!! upset!

WAY easier than using a shower head!!!
This thing is brilliant! The adjustable flows are way better than using a standard ahower head, and the shampoo container works wonders. I feel like I use way less shampoo this way and get a cleaner dog as a result. The flow also does wonders for deshedding. The bonus brush was a plus and it did gread on my goldendoodles coat. With the design, i would love to use this in the garden for fertilizer treatments as well, i think it would be brilliant!! Oh, it was very easy to install and a great value too!

Great hose attachment for washing dogs and horses!
Iâve been using this dog wash hose attachment set to wash both my dog and my horse and it works very well for both! I love that the shampoo compartment can be turned on and off as it holds a lot of soap, more than I need even for my 17 hh horse. It also has multiple choices for the spray so you can adjust it as needed depending on the thickness of hair or if you are rinsing out shampoo.Some of the features that I appreciate are the multiple attachments for this set to your hose bib or sink. It also comes with a few accessories, though Iâve only used the blue rubber brush. Itâs easy to use, it doesnât leak and it makes wash day for the pets a bit easier!
Professor’s opinion –
Simple and Lightweight, but Not as Effective as Expected
This hose attachment is simple, lightweight, and made entirely of plastic. Although at first glance, the nickel-like coating on the sprayer head might suggest a metallic appearance. I appreciate that it comes with spare O-rings, including a large one for the foam container, which gives me hope that the sprayer head will remain useful over several seasons.The device features 3/4″ GHT and 1/2″ NPT connectors, enabling it to be connected to a shower hose for indoor dog washing, a convenient feature. However, my main concern is that shampoo gets diluted too quickly in the soap container, limiting its effectiveness. In practice, it’s not much better than manually applying shampoo to the fur.That said, this attachment might work better for applying water-soluble fertilizer in a garden setting.The two included pet brushes are very basic, but my Shiba Inu accepted them with pleasure, which was a nice bonus.
