Well written and informatively illustrated, this book is useful for the pet owner, especially if you want to understand your dog’s health issues and your vet’s recommendations. The book design itself, using paired pages of text and illustration, is excellent for both reference and study. Generally, I consider used books to be a good value. In this case the only pages the previous owner colored over (sloppily!) were the 4 plates depicting the digestive system, which are the most important for me at the moment. So using and comprehending those 4 illustrations is a challenge. (If you need perfect, go for new.) Overall, plenty of useful info for the pet owner; a good investment.

I am extremely happy with the purchase of this particular book. As a student of Animal Bowen Therapy, I require information that is explanatory and easy to understand. This book is all of that and more. The pictures are simple and it is very easy to see the different aspects of the anatomy of a dog.I received the book in wonderful timing and as always, found the transaction to be easy and non fuss. Versatile Study Tool!
What a marvelous way to focus on specific areas of canine anatomy! Because the anatomical features are given on multiple diagrams, it’s like having several resources under one cover. This product is understandable for young students to study alongside of their parents, as well as technical enough to be an asset to those further along in their vocational training. Terrific for individual & small group study sessions!

I have two dogs and I have been wanting to learn more about dog anatomy, I stumbled upon this book and purchased it as it was on sale. Upon receiving the book, I was very surprised to see how detailed and somewhat complex this book is (I expected just some basic anatomy on their body structures). It contains detailed anatomies of the dog and scientific terms that are hard to remember for the average dog owner. None the less, I think this is a great book to have because it is a great reference book to understand the basic anatomy and parts of the dog. Some of the “plate” (diagrams) are simple and easy to understand while others are complex and medical/scientific. I imagine I will probably forget most of what I learned from this colouring book, but it is a very interesting and useful book no doubt.

its a great book it gives information and has lots of different views of the parts. This book definitely helped me do well in my anatomy and physiology course. I would recommend it to everyone. Only wish it had more pictures for the nevers and the veins/arteries.
