Itâs easy to use, gives accurate readings
I recently started using the Dissolved Oxygen Meter with ATC, and I have to say, it has been an amazing tool for monitoring the oxygen levels in my aquarium. As someone who loves taking care of my fish and other aquatic creatures, I know how important it is to maintain the right levels of oxygen in the water. This meter has made it so much easier and more accurate than I ever imagined! One of the things I really like about this meter is how easy it is to use. The digital screen display with a backlight makes it super clear and convenient to read the data, even when it’s dark. I can check the readings quickly. Itâs especially helpful because my aquarium is in a room with not a lot of natural light, so the backlight is awesome. Plus, the meter automatically shuts off after 8 minutes of no use, which saves the battery. Speaking of batteries, it also lets me know when the battery is running low, so I can charge it. The meter measures the oxygen levels in the water in a range from 0.0 to 40.00 mg/L, which is perfect for my aquarium and even ponds or aquaculture setups. I love how it gives me precise readings, and it even measures the temperature of the water, which is another important essential factor for fish. The temperature range it checks is from 32°F to 104°F, which works great for a variety of water environments. It even has temperature compensation, which means the readings stay accurate even when the temperature fluctuates. This is a feature I didnât even know I needed but now appreciate a lot.I also appreciate the fact that itâs easy to calibrate. You donât have to open the protective cover of the electrode,. You just place the electrode into the solution for testing, and itâs ready to go. The instructions are clear, and setting it up was pretty simple for me.

Not intuitive to use at all.
There are no instructions and the PPM seemed way too high. Sometimes it would be high enough that the water should be pure oxygen!

Just as bad as every other cheap meter.
I played absolute hell trying to create zero oxygen water to get this thing to calibrate. Ultimately I boiled the hell out of water and the pit it in a mason jar and used a jar vacuum sealer to pull all the air out until the water cooled down for calibration. I tried this over several days before I successfully got through the process. After measuring some my my hydroponic reservoirs I have nearly zero faith in it’s accuracy. If I ever try to measure DO again I’ll buy a lab quality meter. The accuracy of these Chinese meters is questionable at best and calibration procedure usually automatically selects the wrong point and essentially bricks the unit. Waste of time and money.

This is an outstanding product with excellent accuracy and a professional presentation. Considering the price, it offers fantastic value. It works exactly as expected, and it’s especially useful for measuring oxygen levels in water. There are plenty of dissolved oxygen meters available on Amazon, but I feel lucky to have found this one. Iâve tested it in different water conditions, including my fish tank, and it has given me a much better understanding of the water quality. The unit feels professional and brand-new, and I am confident in its performance. I highly recommend this meter to anyone looking for an accurate, reliable tool for measuring dissolved oxygen levels. ISetting up the meter is straightforward, and it delivers results quickly. Since measuring dissolved oxygen is a process that takes a little time to allow the membrane to saturate due to the electrochemical reaction, youâll need to be patient. However, this meter has provided consistent, reliable readings in test solutions of known oxygen content, which assures me of its accuracy.
