Very Good Digital Thermometor
I used this product for a fish tank, it’s definitely good at sticking to the glass and accurate, but due to the display being the way it is It is hard to read the temperature at high angles.

Now My Aquarium is under temperature control.
This was so easy to set up to monitor the High and Low temp I set for my little water babies. Highlights above Hi or below Low with flashing display. What an improvement.

Accurate and great display, but the button section is too large
It looks good, but not as good as a similar external thermometer I have that has a much smaller button section. As-is the controls draw too much attention, so I have it positioned on the back corner of my 75-gallon to keep it out of the way. The numbers are big and easy to read though and you can set high and low temp set points so the numbers flash when it gets out of range. I really like that. It was a cinch to set up and configure. Just insert the battery, pull off the adhesive and stick it to the outside of your tank. It takes several minutes for the reading to stabilize but seems dead accurate showing the exact temperature as my internal digital thermometer.

Sticks like glue
I’m glad I liked the place I put it initially, because I couldn’t move it now if I tried ð It works splendidly though, I recommend it.

Love the concept, but needs a second revision.
This thing looks super slick and is definitely accurate temperature-wise, but it’s actually quite hard to see unless you’re looking at it straight on, so after just a couple of times repositioning it so I could see it better, the adhesive failed to stay attached. It falls off repeatedly overnight because there is no adhesive anywhere other than the bottom, so the weight of the unsupported top makes it peel itself off the glass, and I’ve had to resort to using double sided foam tape along the top to hold it on, now.Also, I bought this to replace a previous temperature sensor under the pretense that this has a high and low temp warning, but it doesn’t have a speaker, so all it does is flash the reading on and off. That might work if it was very brightly backlit or something, but it relies on the environment lighting shining through it to be seen, so unless I’m staring right at it, there’s no way I could ever tell anything was wrong. I’ve had heaters break overnight before, and the previous temperature sensor I had actually beeped loudly enough to wake me up, which actually saved my fish from getting cooked, but this? It’s just going to uselessly blink all night long. In terms of usefulness for saving your fish in an emergency, this is no better than those stick-on color changing strips.If you ever consider making a second revision, add an actual beeper, and add some adhesive along the top edge. That would go a long way toward making this an instant recommendation from me.

Dud unit, does not work
When I pulled out the battery tab, the display showed a low battery and powered off. I replaced the battery with a new one twice and it still shows low battery and powers off.

Accuracy
Accuracy I bought a apex system I paid 900.00 for it and it comes with a probe that gives me the temperature in the tank so I bought the aquarium thermometer to check The accuracy of my $900 APAC system and they both read the same But a fraction of the cost

Surprisingly accurate considering it is on the outside of the glass and telling you the temperature of the water on the inside. Don’t fit it too close to the rim. Digits are nice and large too – don’t have to squint to read it at a couple of yards distant.Battery lasts well (~2 years), gives a week or two warning of impending demise – and is easy to change without having to take it off the aquarium. Recommended.

Good product. Does what itâs supposed to do. Makes it easy to quickly glance at as I walk by and know my fish tank is the correct temperature. Looks good on my tank and no issues falling off or not sticking to the side of my tank.
