Pre-wired humidity controller

Great product.
This has been a life saver for my frog vivarium. I only wish the backlight would stay on, or the display was easier to read. Controls take some getting used to but you set it and go. Currently has humidifier, heating pad, and light connected for pet Pac-Man frog.

Beware of load levels
The temperature outlet in this device canât handle the load of even just a standard space heater. If you plug the heater into the temperature control outlet you get an immediate overload error. This was just a standard small 1500 W space heater. This device is pretty much useless for regulating temperature. On the bright side the humidity outlet seems to work just fine. I had high hopes for this for my growing room but ended up very disappointed.

Great controller for Temp/Humidity/Timer
Great kit for controlling environments.I used to have separate units for each device, not I can do them all with just this one.The T/H probe looks like the same one you can get from any number of microcontroller sellers. So if it ever goes out you can most likely buy the probe for a very small price and just plug it right back into the unit (as long as the specs are the same).Nice touch to have a backlit screen. My other ones were just 8-segment led readouts.I will say that the menu/settings/buttons aren’t immediately intuitive, but once you get the hang of what you are doing (and maybe RTFM!) you will get it all figured out.The only thing I don’t like is how they are called “Out 1”, “Out 2”, “Out 3”. on both the screen and embossed into the plastic. Like if you are going to go through the trouble of naming them, why not just call them what they are? Out 1 = Temp, Out 2 = Humidity, Out 3 = Timer. Why is that so hard. Maybe cost savings for other models that are different I suppose, but still seems like there is some confusion at first glance.

This controller is used for a mushroom grow tent. After two months, the unit seems consistent. My only complaint is that you can only program two on-off cycles in 24hrs. However, for the price, you can’t expect much more than that.

Good control features and temperature accuracy
I am working on a hydroponic garden project. This controller meets our needs. With this controller I am able to control the temperature and humidity.The Digiten is easy to use. Plus, the instructions manual is included. What I like about this controller:1. The three independent outlets and each with its own independent setting â temperature, humidity and timer.2. Memory feature for restoring your preset values when power is interrupted.3. Good size lettering for visibility on the LCD display.4. Good temperature control range from 14 â 248 degrees F with accuracy +/- 0.7 degrees F. Relative humidity accuracy +/- 3%.5. Includes probe sensor (digital output, I2C interface)Overall, this is a really good controller. I find it easy to use and really like the independent control of each outlet. Once the system is setup with the controller, it will monitor and control it. Plus, it is small enough and portable in size that it come be used for various applications. It definitely met my expectations.
