Simpler and more accurate: Salt tester is simpler than test strips, just put it in the water for a few seconds to get the result, no need to match colors. worth the purchase!
product works perfectly. i was hesitant to purchase at first because of others reviews, whom stated corrosion on contacts led to failure of the product. In my experience with using this product, I’ve found no evidence of corrosion however i believe this is do to the fact that i rinse the contacts with fresh water and dry them well using paper towels after each use.

I use this to test my salt water pool. Very easy to use. Stick the end in the water, press the button & get immediate salt content in ppm & temperature. Durable. Wrist strap so you canât lose it in the pool! The box & molded insert are great for storing. I recommend this tester.

Inaccurate readings. Not worth it.
Went through two of these meters. 1st one worked great for a week, then readings were as much as 1000ppm off. This was determined by comparing to salt system display and salt test strips do e at the same time. Returned and replaced. The 2nd worked for about a month before the same thing happened. Accurate readings are sporadic at best. Guess I’m going back to the salt strips. They take longer but are tried and true

I am a pool âprofessionalâ was looking for a cheap and reliable one of these. Ive gone through 2 already in a month they dont seem to be humidity proof moisture always gets inside the screen and it ceases to work. I bought three so maybe third times the charmâ¦excess use could be the culprit to why mine arent making it however

Did not arrive calibrated for salt. Followed the instructions to calibrate but unable to adjust the ms/cm setting as per the manual as the recommended settings and actual manual settings vary.
