Customers say
Customers find this prenatal vitamin to be of good quality and appreciate that it’s made from vegetarian sources. Moreover, the product offers better value than other vegan options and customers consider it easy to swallow. However, experiences with nausea and taste are mixed – while some say it doesn’t cause nausea and doesn’t leave an aftertaste, others report feeling nauseated and describe the taste as awful. Additionally, the size receives mixed feedback, with some finding it small enough to swallow without gagging while others find it too large.

High in Iron
Pros:I switched to this prenatal from 2 others as this is the highest iron content I could find. My iron levels have since evened out to just below what is normal range. This prenatal has a great list of vitamins and way more then alot (if not most) other prenatal on the market, and at a fraction of the price. I’m happy.Cons:While this prenatal has alot of what is recommended, there isn’t a prenatal on the market that has everything. This one is missing omega 3 dha/dpa, and folic acid. I just bought those separately and take them in the evening.Other con, as other reviewers state it definitely turns your pee an electric color, lol. Which I’d view as alarming if I wasn’t expecting it. It is quite large, and does have a unique “vitamin-ey” smell. Because of the smell (and maybe the strength) I cannot take this on an empty stomach and definitely probably couldn’t have handled it during my first tri. It makes me a bit nauseous if I do that and my burps smell like vitamins.Overall I’m happy though with this as I was struggling super badly with my anemia and iron and this has soooo many of the recommended vits for baby and is sooo much more affordable. I will probably stay on these well into pp.

Solid Vegan Prenatal Option
I’ve been using the Deva Vegan Prenatal Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement for a few months now, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance. The “once-per-day” formula is incredibly convenient, especially during busy days when I might forget to take my vitamins. The fact that it’s tailored for vegans is a huge plus for me, as I follow a vegan lifestyle and want to ensure I’m getting all the essential nutrients for a healthy pregnancy.I appreciate the inclusion of vitamins A and C, as these are crucial for immune support and overall well-being. It’s reassuring to know that I’m covering these important bases with just one supplement. The pill size is manageable and easy to swallow, which is great news for anyone who struggles with larger pills. I haven’t experienced any adverse reactions or discomfort after taking these vitamins, which is always a relief. However, I’m giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have liked to see a broader range of nutrients included in the formula. While the vitamins A and C are appreciated, there are other key prenatal nutrients like iron, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids that I still need to source from additional supplements. In conclusion, the Deva Vegan Prenatal Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement is a solid choice for vegan moms-to-be. It’s convenient, vegan-friendly, and includes important vitamins like A and C. While it doesn’t cover all prenatal nutritional needs, it’s a step in the right direction for a healthy pregnancy.

Healthy Baby
I used these throughout my pregnancy. I continue to use them while breastfeeding. My baby was born healthy. They donât make me nauseated like other prenatals. A lot of vitamins donât have the percentages they claim to on their labels, but these actually contain the percentages they claim to.

Change in formulation/quality concern, no response from company
I bought a bottle of this late in 2023. They were great! Only one a day, so they were cheaper and easier to manage than the NatureLo vitamins I was taking previously. They don’t smell great, but no tablet vitamin smells great, so that’s not really a knock on this product. So I ordered a second bottle when I ran out of the first one. The packaging was the same (the newer brown label), but the vitamins inside looked different, sort of more speckled, like the outer coating was a little thinner or something. As soon as I took one, I noticed that all of my “liquid outputs” turned neon yellow. I’m including a picture of breast milk here because I don’t think anyone wants a picture of other liquid outputs, but I assure you the effect was similar and more pronounced.I switched to my husband’s multivitamins for a few days and everything went back to normal. I took the Deva vitamins again for a day, and BOOM, back to bright yellow. The picture is one bottle pumped while taking my husband’s vitamins and one bottle pumped while taking the Deva vitamins. Both were pooled over multiple sessions and my supply is well regulated, so this isn’t a matter of different fat content or different times of day or anything. This is just the effect of the vitamin, and this wasn’t even the most egregiously yellow day. It’s one thing if I’m taking too much of a vitamin and my body just gets rid of the excess, but if I start seeing that excess visibly turn up in what my baby is drinking, that scares me. It doubly scares me because the first bottle I used did not have this effect, and that makes me wonder if this is a quality control issue on Deva’s end. I contacted the company to ask if they’d changed the formula or there was some other explanation, and I got no response. At this point, I’m not comfortable taking the rest of the bottle, and I’m not comfortable purchasing from this brand again.
