UPDATE: After leaving review, I unexpectedly received a refund of the purchase price, presumably because I mentioned that the bag was damaged. This was not expected nor necessary, as I was still happy with the seed. But, really nice of the seller to do this. I’m changing my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars because of this…. the only complaint I had at all was that the packing box was not very sturdy which led to damage in shipping. Excellent seed, which my backyard birds are sure appreciating in this colder weather.This is the second bag I’ve ordered; many of my backyard birds love this seed — Cardinals, Juncos, White-throated and White-crowned Sparrows, Fox Sparrows, Mourning Doves, Pine Siskins. It’s small enough that the ground squirrels tend to mostly ignore it when it is scattered on the limestone outcroppings around my house. My only complaint is the mediocre packaging. My most recent bag was delivered in a flimsy box with no padding, and the bag holding the seed was, unsurprisingly, damaged and torn in more than one spot, spilling seed out into the box. I was able to seal the bag well enough with packing tape, so hopefully it will hold up until I use it all (one of the perks of this brand is that it comes in a re-sealable bag), but it would be nice if they would start packaging the bags a little more securely to prevent so much damage in shipping. Still, a great value, and will surely order again once the birds finish this bag!

Perfect Treat for My Parakeet
My parakeet refused to eat any of the in-store brands with all the fillers. I searched the pet stores, but couldn’t find anything he liked. I could only get him to eat the millet sticks. A quick search here on Amazon brought me to this! He loves it! He jumps straight to his dish when I pour it in. It keeps him busy, happy, and is a great source of enrichment and nutrition. I love that itâs all-natural with no weird additives. The price is great, and one bag lasts him 3 months. Highly recommend for any parakeet or small bird ownerâyour feathered friend will thank you!

I love that this is available on Amazon because it attracts so many different birds! My only complaint is the last bag I got split at the side seam while I was filling the feeder and I lost quit bit in the grass. I recommend putting the seeds into a sturdy container even though the bag usually works fine. Hate to waste any of the pricy seed!
