We own a cat and this Depets recovery collar came up based on when we looking for a cone for him after his surgery, it’s very light so not be an extra load for him, and it’s easy to put on and take down. We would like to share it with you guys.
NOTE: We have 2 sizes for choice, Small size 6# and Medium size 5#, please notice if you choose the right one when order. If your pet’s measurement is close to the maximum please order the next size up.

Great Quality and Functionality
My cat would not stop scratching behind his ears and scratched to the point that he had no skin or hair. After getting him this Cone E-collar along with anti-biotic ointment, he has his skin back. The product has a protective cloth around where his neck goes so it does not hurt him. The plactic is thick enough for good durability but not too thick that it won’t bend. The velcro is strong and holds up to repeted use over time. I cannot say that he looks cute in it. He absolutely hates it, but after a few days in it he learned to accept it. Worked exactly the way advertised and improved my cats overall health. For that I give this product 5 stars. Great product. I highly recommend it.

I love the easy of putting it on and off and itâs easy to clean. It has worked really well. My cat wounds are finally healing. Sheâs sad she has the cone but sheâs healthy so all for a better future!

Overall excellent collar, but cat can reach tail tip.
Pros:Good materials, pretty lightweight, good closure, easy to put on and take off, flexible enough to get through litter box door, cat tolerates it fairly well and hasn’t escaped from it, and it prevents cat’s mouth from reaching most of her body, and her claws from reaching her face.Cons:Medium size isn’t quite deep enough to keep my 7.5# cat from getting hold of the tip of her tail. She uses the e-collar to pin her tail tip to the floor and hold it while she stretches her face down to bite the crap out of it.My cat may have feline hyperesthesia. Something is causing her to attack the tip of her tail viciously as if she thinks it’s a snake following her everywhere. She’s pulled the hair from the last 1/2″, and made a bloody mess of the tip. As soon as it scabs over, she gets in a fight with it and chews it up again. If the problem were farther down her tail, or if she needed the e-collar for any other part of her body, I believe this e-collar would work perfectly. The only improvement I’d suggest is to add many rows of small, round holes (like binder holes) to allow sound and air to pass through it (and make it even lighter), and of course, for my cat’s specific issue, make a deeper collar option.FYI, raise your cat’s food and water dishes to be sure he/she can reach them while wearing this collar. My cat can reach her raised water fountain, but needs a 6″ pedestal for her food bowl.

Strong great quality
We have a 17lb 3yr old male cat and this worked perfectly. He’s pretty strong and he tried to remove it on his own. Rolling and tugging on it with his front and back legs/ paws. He was not able to remove

Worked well for 18 week old kittens!
Really good e-collars. These stayed on my kittens when the soft postsurgical collars we tried kept getting pulled off! The fact that these are adjustable was really helpful too, plus very easy to take off and put back on – which I did at meal time so the kittens could get a break and could eat and drink more easily.

Size ‘Small’ is for kittens.
The size small cone was too small for my 10 pound cat.In addition, the Velcro closure doesn’t hold very well, even without a cat wearing it, but it may just need time to break in, or possibly a large paper clip would hold it together until the plastic material could retain memory.However, if the cat was in a dangerous situation, as in the cone getting caught on something that could cause choking, the Velcro is loose enough so the cat could very easily get out of it, herself, averting a possibly deadly accident.The plastic material is stiff, durable, washable, and sturdy, and of good quality. A good value for the money. I’m going to donate this collar to an animal shelter since it’s really not worth sending back, but if you’re ordering, I hope my review helps your decision. If you’re buying for a small adult cat, I recommend the Medium cone.

Great cone for post-surgery recovery!
This cone worked really well for my cat after her spay surgery. Itâs lightweight, adjustable, and not too stiff, so she could still eat and sleep comfortably while it kept her from licking her incision. The Velcro made it super easy to put on and take off. Definitely a good choice if you want something simple and effective!

A very usable cone for a cat
The small fit my 7.5 lb cat fine. She was dealing with a skin issue and we needed to keep her from over grooming. The Velcro closure works fine and I think I could put it on our 12 lb cat too. It’s big enough that she can’t get to any thing but the end of her tail. But she can get around okay and after a day was back to her antics of jumping to counters. The stickers that show the inside and outside are not nice. My cat is rather clumsy in the cone and it gets wet and dirty rather quickly. While wiping the cone down, the stickers started coming off, but have left sticky residue. Not nice. I’ve worked at scrubbing the last of the stickers off, but when my cat is done wearing it, I’ll take goo-be-gone to it to get the last of the residue off. Otherwise, the cone wipes clean nicely and the edging is soft and wipe-able. Is give it 4.5 stars if I could, but these stickers are very annoying. Like any paper, they got very stinky when wet. And like any sticker, leaves sticky residue when removed!

This cone was to stop my cat from licking herself to death, literally. And it works, she’s not happy about it but it will help her stay away from the doctors office. This product is easy to put on and so far she has accepted the fact that she has to wear this, despite the evil looks she gives me for it. This I would recommend to anyone who has a similar situation. Just don’t leave the pet unattended for to long because they can not eat or drink with this cone on and it is also difficult for them to use the litter box with it on. Oh the things we do for our pets. For that reason I’m in.

This is comfortable for cats as the neck part is soft. The clear plastic is easy to wipe too. Make sure you measure your pets neck and add a centimetre or too so that your cat can breath.
