Very effective, easy to use, and value priced
I wish there was some way I could use these deep cleaning dishwasher tablets on my ugly old shower doors. Thatâs because they really improved the looks and smell of our 8 year old dishwasher. I must admit we havenât kept up with cleaning the dishwasher, so I was eager to try out these cleaning tablets.They come in a packet containing 24 tablets, or a yearâs supply. The instructions say to put on in the detergent dispenser tray, and if needed, placing a 2nd tablet in the bottom of the dishwasher. Our dishwasher had a lot of lime scale on it so I put the second tablet in as well.I ran the empty dishwasher for a full cycle, and I definitely saw a difference when it was done. The instructions suggest a second cleaning if necessary. I like that the cleaning tablets not only improved the appearance of the dishwasherâs interior, but it smells better too. I give it five stars for ease of use, good results, and reasonable price.

Not sure if they do anything, but it’s better than doing nothing
I got these dishwasher cleaner tablets thinking they would work some magic on my dishwasher, lol. Honestly, Iâm not 100% sure if they did anything, but my dishwasher hasnât exploded yet, so thatâs a win, I guess. Theyâre fragrance-free, which is nice if youâre not into chemical smells, and the fact that theyâre made in America is a bonus.Iâve used a few of the tablets over the past month, and my dishwasher seems about the same as before, maybe a little cleaner? I probably should have taken before and after pics. Still, there are no funky smells, and no obvious limescale buildup that I can see. Maybe I just needed them for maintenance rather than fixing something broken.Overall, Iâd say these are fine to have on hand if you want to try to keep your dishwasher in decent shape. I canât say I noticed a huge difference, but hey, theyâre easy to use and better than doing nothing, I figure.

Just tried them, loosened up gunk I thought would never come off
There are 24 tablets in the entire package. Each is individually wrapped. The instructions say to put one in the detergent receptacle and run the machine. It says if you have a dirty dishwasher, you can use two. Our dishwasher is cheap and getting old, so it had accumulated some gunk on the edges and the dishes were definitely not coming out clean or usable.When the cycle was done (I chose the longest cycle), the dishwasher was noticeably cleaner and had no odor to it. There were a couple bits of debris on the bottom, which I am presuming was loosened during the cycle. I’m surprised at how well these apparently worked. They also come with a chart so you can keep track of when you administer them.We have loaded the dishwasher and are going to try doing a load in the next day or two once it is full. If the dishes don’t come out cleaner, we will try again and I will post an edit/update here.

These work very well and should be used regularly. They are conveniently packaged and ready to go.
Our dishwasher is a full stainless-steel tub and thought these may only provide partial cleaning as the pictures all show plastic tubs and really dirty portions of the dishwasher. Nope! This was a full cleaning that resulting in a pleasantly smelling dishwasher (for the first time in a year) and a cleaner tub than I thought would happen. Very happy.Remember, most all dishwashers, including mine, have a filter that is designed for the consumer (you) to clean frequently. It’s the filter that keeps the large chunks of food from really causing an issue with your chopper system. Sure, dishwashers do chop up some food items but the bigger stuff needs to be removed. Otherwise nothing, not even voodoo magic, will help. These filters have become so dang easy and convenient to remove, so please take a look at yours! You may be pleasantly surprised and let this product fully work its own magic to clean the whole system!

Help for older dishwashers
I have a really old (25 years!) old dishwasher. It was quite fancy when it was new, but alas, itâs not stainless and it was starting to show its age. The water where I live is quite hard and some locals even describe it as caustic. ð I know Iâm constantly descaling water fixtures, so I canât even imagine what was up in my dishwasher. While my dishwasher wasnât looking completely awful, it just wasnât cleaning my dishes like it should. Iâm pretty sure the previous owner didnât clean it with these kinds of tabs (or anything else).
