Sulfur Benz Shampoo combines two highly effective ingredients, Micronized Sulfur and Benzoyl Peroxide, to help attack problems associated with seborrhea, non-specific dermatoses and other conditions requiring a degreasing or keratolytic formula. The Shampoo aids with opening the hair follicles, preparing coat and skin to receive the beneficial action of Micronized Sulfur. Salicylic Acid helps skin cells to shed more readily which allows healthy new skin to grow. Gentle and pH balanced, it helps to provide relief and a clean and healthy looking coat.

CURED my chihuahua-mix’s itch, flaky skin and her belly hair grew back.
Last summer my poor little chihuahua-mix was suffering because her skin was dry, flaky, itchy, and she was licking her paws constantly. Her little belly had no fur. She is on a montly flea treatment and had no flea or other bites. Her vet did a skin biopsy that came back negative for anything except allergy inflammation. Vet said to switch her to a grain-free fish based food in case of food allergies and also increase her fish-based fatty acid oil intake. Vet also prescribed chlorhexidine wipes and shampoo that did ZERO to help. I bought some other shampoos and wipes online that did ZERO to help.I bought this Davis sulfur/benzoyl peroxide dog shampoo after reading online reviews. IT WORKS!!!I initially bathed my dog with this twice a week. Now I bathe her with this once a week and wash her beds and blankets weekly as a maintenance. Her belly fur grew back completely. Her coat is so very soft and shiny and her skin is healthy and no longer flaky. She is no longer miserable. People always comment on how pretty and soft she is.

Save your monies
If you’ve got mange, just go get the antibiotics, they’re necessary. That and maybe alime sulfer dip, but shampoo is simply not enough on its own. (Words from a few vets, not just my own) iIf you insist option the shampoo though, this is probably the best brand. I personally tried 3

Works on cats!!!
My poor rescue kitty….over 2 yrs of vet visits and several misdiagnosis. For first year or so…. it was only in his ears. They kept saying it was fungal…over time it spread through out his body… mites were so deep, 3 vets could never see mites under microscope. Along with oral invomec regime, after first bath with this, the skin scabs were finally breaking off. We are on our third bath and what a difference by so far. We will continue for another month or so…it is key, as directions say to leave on/lather for 10minutes. Cat hates the water part, but doesn’t mind us soaping him down on counter and then i wrap him in a towl with soap on for 10 min. For cats or dogs that lick themselves., i highly recommend a cone for at least 24hrs after bath.
