A Must-Have for Pet Parents!
This brush is AMAZING! I use it on both my golden retriever and my Siamese cat, and it works beautifully on both. It pulls out so much loose fur without irritating their skin, and they actually seem to enjoy being brushed with it. The handle is super comfortable to hold, and cleanup is easy. Definitely a must-have if youâve got furry friends at home!

Best by far for undercoat removal
Where has this product been!!! I misplaced my Furminator and hesitated to buy a new one at their hefty price. Broke down and ordered this DakPets deshedding tool instead. It was delivered very quickly, and I’ll never be without one again! I have three huge German Shepherds. The Dak’s does a better job than the Ferminator. (I don’t care if I ever find the old Furminator.) I filled a bucket 3/4 of the way after pushing the hair down to fit more. My dog looks and feels better! The shedding has stopped after just one use. My dogs push up in line to have their turn at a brushing; they love it. Thank you DakPets. This is one product that helps with the high cost of pet care products, and I appreciate it.

Works great to remove dog hair on short and long hair dogs, BUT there are better options for the money!!
Pros:- Works well and removes a lot of pet hair- Replaceable/removable blade- LightweightCons:- Plastic construction is lightweight, but doesn’t feel as premium or high quality as some competitors- Blade has sharper teeth, which can irritate your dog’s skin- Potentially better options at this price pointPersonal Experience:I left a separate review for the Hair Hero, which is essentially the same product but with complete stainless steel construction and is in my opinion a superior brush (feel free to check out my other reviews). I was on a mission to find the best dog brush. My wife and I have a Rat Terrier (similar to a Jack Russell terrier) and a Yorkie/Miniature Shnauzer mix. We consider ourselves the perfect “testers” for something like this because we have both a short hair and a long hair dog. We love our rat terrier, but he sheds his short little white coat approximately 4 times a year, and our Yorkie mix gets knots in her undercoat constantly. We had only purchased simple silicone dog combs or normal narrow bristled brushes in the past to use on our dogs, and they never worked well. Finally we decided to do some research and try out a few brushes. We tried this brush, the Furminator, the Hair Hero, along with a few of the other competitors (other generic brushes that look identical).After trying them all, we concluded that the Hair Hero was the best. Honestly, many of the brushes are extremely similar and I would not be surprised if many of them come from the exact same manufacturer that just brands them differently at the end of the production process. The majority of the brushes all use a 4 inch brush blade with narrowly spaced teeth to achieve its purposes. However, when all is said and done, the Hair Hero is not only priced better than many of its competitors, its stainless steel construction feels much more durable, high quality, and easy to use than its competitors. Many of the other competitors use variations of plastic and some rubber on the handles (including this one). And even though results may be similar among some of the other models, we felt that the Hair Hero still worked slightly better because its teeth on the brush were slightly more rounded, thus it was less irritating on the skin of our dog.Conclusion:Works well to remove large amounts of dog hair that normal brushes will not be able to. However, there are better options available for the price point that utilize a more solid construction (instead of plastic and rubber), and have slightly more refined edges on the brush teeth to protect against aggravating your dog’s skin.

GREAT At Pulling Fur And Undercoat Without Pain/Damage/Harm
Works amazingly well, almost as good as the “name brand” version. It pulls loose fur and undercoat like a champ. The *only* thing missing (which the name brand version has) is a one-hand use ability to clear the fur with a slide. Just means I need both hands to constantly pull the clumped fur before continuing to brush. But for the price, I’ll stick to using two hands happily.

AMAZING!! MUST BUY!
I cannot rave about this grooming tool enough. I had gotten a brush for my cat a couple months ago, but she didn’t like it at all, so I was skeptical about buying this for her. But, let me tell you, she LOVES IT. She rubs her face into the bristles, flops on her back so I can brush her belly, and one time she was so relaxed she fell off her cat tree and I had to catch her! Lol. She used to have dandruff as well (I noticed when I would try and brush her with her other brush) and since using this grooming comb, her dandruff is nearly gone! Picture 1 is of her first brushing. Also, I was curious to see if this would work on my area rug too, and it did!!! It got out all of the hair that was embedded into the fabric (picture 2), and now my area rug looks and feels brand new. BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!

I have a furminator but this product is better. Its costs lesser than the furminator. I have 2 cats. One has thin coat and so furminator or any other brush does not suit him because it hurts him. This one is perfect because it is not sharp but does its job well. Very nice product.

Das wichtigste vorweg mein Mischlingsrüde liebt das Produkt.Es ziept nicht unangenehm am Fell, verletzt oder reizt nicht die Haut und man braucht kaum Druck, einfach toll – es tut was es soll und zieht wirklich nur die Haare raus die raus sollen – würde der Produktbeschreibung komplett zustimmen einfach ein tolles Produkt.Es liegt ebenfalls gut in der Hand und ich habe das Produkt bereits seit fast 3 Jahren und mein Rüde liebt es damit gekämmt zu werden, das Fell ist danach einfach schöner und glänzt auch ein kleines bisschen mehr als davor und er fühlt sich nach der “Massage” auch wohler, zudem regt es die Durchblutung der Haut an und das beste dass die Massage die Bindung zu meinem Hund noch stärkt.Vielleicht würde ich das nächste mal eine Nummer kleiner bestellen den für 40cm Schulterhöhe ist der Kamm doch etwas zu groà -obwohl der Vorteil ist das es länger dauert bis dieser voller Haare ist und ich ihn somit länger ohne Unterbrechungen bürsten kann ^^Ich persönlich finde das es für Hunde die Haare haben, also Yorkshire, anti Allergiker Hunde, etc., eher weniger geeignet ist da lieber auf andere Produkte zurück greifen (ziept wenn die Haare verknotet sind und etwas zu intensiv auf der Haut – zumindest empfindet das meine Hündin so) aber für Fell – besseres gibt’s nicht und der Kopf ist austauschbar, genial.Hoffe ich konnte dir weiterhelfen 🙂
