Be CAREFUL which Model number you order!
Be careful when ordering this product, as there are many different model that LOOK the same, but have VERY DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS and the various strings of lights they are designed for ALL HAVE THE SAME LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. They are physically interchangeable, but they are not electronically the same. For instance, some models output a steady voltage and current that keeps lights constant ON. Others have various blink/twinkle/fade programmability, some have ON/OF timers, and still others have different current outputs to drive longer strings/more LEDs. Be aware also, that the ones that are blink-selectable may or may not default to a random sequence (not remember the present selection) whenever power input is interrupted (by a timer or dawn/dusk sensor). I didn’t want any kind of twinkle for my lights, so I selected “Steady”. Fine, until my timer cycled Off/On, then the set went to some twinkle mode. THIS particular model #JT-DC300V0800-G1 is always STEADY ON even when input power cycles ON/OFF, and is a high-output unit capable of driving many hundreds of LEDs in a daisy chain.
