My Daughter LOVES This Brush
I got this brush to use for my daughter’s hair and she absolutely loves it! She has curly hair, I do not, and so even though she is 10 now, I’m still trying to learn about how to properly take care of her hair. I absolutely love her curls and little ringlets so hate when it comes time to brush her hair, that the brushes we’ve always used turn her hair into a giant poof-ball of frizz. She is very tender headed too so her biggest complaint about brushes is how they “hurt” because they are too hard.This is our first time trying an actual brush for curly hair and so far, we are big fans. My daughter’s absolute favorite thing about this curl defining brush is that it is much gentler than normal brushes. She enjoys using wet brushes for the same reason, but I have a hard time getting actual tangles out of her hair with those. However, this brush is both soft enough for her to not hate and does a great job of getting tangles out.I did look up some videos too to see how to correctly use a brush like this and realized we had been initially using it wrong in that we were not utilizing the “teeth” on the sides of the brush. Those are an important part of getting the curls defined.Quality and durability are excellent. I mentioned this is our first time using this kind of brush, but we had previously purchased one before this, however it literally snapped in half on the second brush through her hair on its first use so we never really got to use it. So I’m very pleased with how durable this particular brush is.As far as curl defining, I do think this brush helps to better define her curls better and the value for money is great.

Extra fine teeth on the side separate your hair into smaller chunks than other similar brushes
I really like that this curly hair brush for wet hair has finer teeth on the sides than most similar brushes, as it separates my hair into smaller chunks to scrunch. That sets this brush apart from other similar brushes on the market. You may like the finer teeth or the wider set teeth… that is a personal preference. I have both, now, and like them both.As you brush the wet hair in sections, turn the brush sideways so that the last thing touching the hair segment is the side with the teeth, which will separate the hair into small sections that can then be easily scrunched to enhance your curls.The brush, itself, has a combination of plastic teeth and boar-bristle type bristles, detailing thick or thin hair gently, yet thoroughly.Nice twist on a curl enhancing brush!NOTE: THIS IS ONLY TO BE USED ON WET HAIR! If you have straight hair, or wavy 2B hair, sure, you can brush your hair with this wet or dry. If you have 2C or curlier hair, dry brushing with this dense brush will result in frizzing and a loss of your curl pattern/ringlets.

Solid pink cat shaped hairbrush.
This is a nice cat-ear hairbrush. Itâs made of solid plastic so itâs pretty sturdy. The handle is curved back slightly, and it has a comfortable grip. There are soft pink tips so it doesn’t hurt your scalp, but the black area where the prongs attach is also solid rubber, so itâs not soft and squishy like most hairbrushes. The only thing I didnât like is the plastic has brown dots throughout, like itâs made of recycled materials, and they didnât remove the random dirt that got mixed in, and I think that makes the hairbrush color look a bit off; dirty pink. My daughter still likes this new hairbrush and could easily handle being dropped and played with since sheâs always leaving her stuff in the babyâs reach.

Such a cute design and it feels great.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the handle at the end has no hole to hang it and it’s rounded. A point is needed on the end to lift and separate the curls. I love the cat design and the feel of the bristles. I was able to put a section of hair in this morning after it was wet and pull it through easily. The bristles are sectioned far enough apart where it detangles and cleans quickly. I got nice soft curls after using it. It’s not a heavy brush and it fits easily into my hair storage bin.

Wonderful for curly hair clumping!
This is one of my new favorite brushes for my naturally curly hair and getting good clumps! The boar bristles help with detangling and getting everything in a line. The outside separator tines are closer together then my other brush like this, which is good. I can now make different size clumps where needed. This brush is also very easy to use, it’s not too big or heavy.This brush is also cute! It’s subtle, the cat ears, but makes my morning. The plastic is heavy duty so I think this durable if dropped.

i love this hair brush because it’s one of those products that are both super cute, but functional. i am really happy with how gentle this brush is. i have been trying to use less heat on my hair and just style it as i blow dry it and this works really well for curling with a hair dryer! i have thicker straight hair and i appreciate its ability to detangle my hair without pulling out an excessive amount of hair. this brush seems really well built and the bristles also seem thick and durable. again, the pink color is so cute! perfect for any cat lover!

I really like this hair brush, itâs much nicer than I expected and is very gentle on hair and has a good detangling ability that doesnât hurt. It works really nicely for my young daughterâs fine curls. Works well for thick hair, too. The brush is made from wood and has adorable cat ears, my daughter was so excited. The boar bristles add beautiful shine and keep frizz controlled. The longer bristles are flexible with a soft tipped end to glide through hair and scalp without hurting. Highly recommend this gorgeous hair brush! Great find. (Had to laugh at the âdescriptionâ upon arrival though, worth reading!)

Not as good as the real deal

It works ok but doesn’t seem to define as well as the original. The side teeth aren’t quite as deep and the bristles are cheap and weak. I wouldn’t advise using this on dry hair at all. It’s an acceptable curly brush if you don’t want to spend 3x the cash.
