My Cresties LOVE this stuff!!!
This is my Cresties favorite flavor of them all. Thereâs little to no smell, super easy to use, itâs a little pricey and the shipping is crazy long, so if you need food right now this wouldnât work out well for you but if you have other food on standby try this when it arrives. The quality is great itâs the perfect consistency.

crested gecko likes it, convenient, expensive
I got this for my crested gecko. Typically I use a powdered product. But, when I’m away and other people are feeding her, I like to keep it simple for them.She eats this with as much enthusiasm as her Pangea flavors. She likes her food more runny than most so we still had to add some water to this to get it to a consistency she will eat.This is enough for maybe 10 servings, with it kept in the fridge in between. Since it’s then cold, we add it earlier in the evening so it’s up to room temp by her prime eating time.It is definitely more convenient than the powder, but I don’t like having to store it in the fridge for that long as it could spoil. I didn’t notice any issues but it’s still possible. The other issue is just the price. At $13, it’s many times more expensive than her powered food.So, for me, I like having it on hand for the convenience but it isn’t something I’ll use regularly.

My Bearded Dragon must have thought it had gone to paradise because he could not get enough of this nourishment! Apparently, the taste and smell are both irresistible based on how eagerly he relishes eating it. Although, I personally will not be tasting it, I found the smell, (when I placed it close to my nose), disgusting. From what the label states, it is quite a healthy source of nutrition, so the quality of the product is something to consider for your pet. (I give my Bearded Dragon little âdime-sizeâ portions because I view this as a treat to supplement his other food, and certainly not as a major food source.)

I picked up the REPTIZOO FRIENDLY Insect Puree (Banana Paste, 2.82oz) for my crested gecko, and itâs been a solid addition to my reptile food lineup. I was a little skeptical at firstâmy gecko can be picky, and âinsect pureeâ isnât exactly the most appetizing phrase to us humans. But the ingredient list looked good, so I figured it was worth a try.The texture is smooth, more like a thick pudding than a paste, and it actually smells pretty sweet thanks to the banana. I appreciate that itâs made with real insects and fresh banana, not just flavoring or fillers. My gecko seemed interested right awayâhe licked it up without hesitation, which is not always the case when I introduce something new.I use this puree as an occasional treat or supplement, not a complete diet, and it fits that role perfectly. Itâs easy to squeeze out just the amount I need, and the resealable pouch keeps the rest fresh for later. Cleaning up is a breeze, and I havenât noticed any mess or weird residue in the enclosure.So far, my geckoâs digestion seems great, and heâs staying active and healthy. I wouldnât recommend this as the only food source, but for variety and enrichment, itâs a winner. If you have a reptile that enjoys fruit and insects, this is worth a shotâespecially if you want to mix things up or tempt a fussy eater.

If itâs safe for bugs itâs safe for reptiles.
I own several different invertebrates, when Iâm asked to test different foods I use one of my invertebrate enclosures as a test enclosure. Because if it kills the bugs itâs no good to feed your pet. Often the scraps are used in animal feeds and may not even be safe for them to consume because of pesticides or other treatments. So I like to provide you with a test on roaches, or isopods of mine. Even if I had reptiles I would do this test first. I even do it with our cats. I was given dog chicken cubes to review a while back that killed a culture revealing it unsafe, just to show you how valuable this testing is on new up and coming companies that sell animal food products.The roaches and isopods which consumed this feed are fine with no issues or harm. No change in their behavior or appearance. If it doesnât kill the bugs it should be safe for your reptiles to digest.

REPTIZOO FRIENDLY Insect Puree, Banana PasteThis little packet makes feeding so much more easier and quicker. It smells great, just like bananas. You need to put it in your fridge after opening and it makes it thicken some making it harder to get out for the next time but other than that issue, this is great stuff. My gecko and bearded dragon has loved this stuff. This is a bit high though on price for a small packet that it is but then again, most reptile stuff is high. I would definietly get more of this when I’m financially able to.

Crested Gecko loves it
Our crested gecko loves this food. He gets excited when he hears the package open and he eats it up so fast. I like the quality of the food and how convenient it is but I do feel we get more out of the powder. Its definitely worth it for the convenience and the fact that our gecko likes it so much.
