To say the birds of all kinds love it is an understatement! Usually if I have to switch the food I’ve been giving them, it takes them a couple of days to acclimate. They were on this in less that 5 minutes and haven’t stopped since. I always had a lot of birds but they seem to have called all their relatives~lol.Is it pricey for only 5 pounds? It is. Is it worth every penny? It is. And like most people have said, the squirrels don’t like it. So if you take into consideration how much of the other bird food the squirrels ate, this is a better deal by far!I highly recommend and apparently so do the birds!!

Freshest looking and smells acceptable.
There is something about this product that makes it superior than other safflower seeds. It seems whiter, more uniform in color and there is an odor with other safflower seed that I do not detect with this seed. It just seems fresher and maybe it is. The only recommendation is there are some products with a thicker plastic bag with a good re-sealer. And the other thing is you pay more for your product, probably due to the attributes. I buy it periodically due to the up price.
