Another great product from Choco Nose!
I’ve had pet rats for well over a decade so I’m familiar with a few other Choco Nose products. I found this product because… I was tasked with kenneling a feral *cat* (not rat) and all I had on hand was the Critter Nation cage. This cat, wow, he and I eventually grew to love each other, but he loved to ransack his stuff, including upending his water bowl. I needed a clip-on bowl so bad, but all the ones I found for kennels or for cats/dogs were gravity-fit ones that just “drops in”. Yeah, no, that was not going to work for this ransacker.Then – lightbulb moment – I realized if the cat’s in a *rat* cage, I should look for a *rat* product. Choco Nose to the rescue! The anchor portion of this screws together to stay in place very securely. At first, it might seem like the screw is just a tad too wide to fit between the bars of the Critter Nation, but all you do is pinch the CN bars and then the anchor fits just fine. The screw is also long, so there’s plenty of leverage to counter against any type of pulling or ransacking from the animals, rat or cat.Once the anchor portion of the part is secured, you don’t have to bother with it, just press the quick-release tab and lift the bowl out. It works perfectly. You do have to use two hands, though (one for the bowl, one for the release), so if you’re dealing with escape artists (like this cat, oh my god), just get ready. When you put the bowl back in place, it slides in, and then there’s a “click” that indicates it’s securely latched in. This means the bowl won’t come out when pushed up from the bottom – precisely what I needed!In terms of capacity, for small animals, the bowl holds plenty of water or food. For, say, a cat, it’s probably not enough water so you’ll have to wash/refill a couple times a day.Finally, just on a purely superficial level, this product is hilariously cute. The quick-release tab has a little heart on it. The entire bowl is a heart. It also looks like a urinal from some angles due to the white color and how it’s attached to the cage wall. All of this is to say that a heart-shaped urinal was the PERFECT thing to outsmart and hydrate a grumpy, old-man cat. Seriously, though, this bowl is a well made product and and I can’t wait use this for rats when I have them again. I know they’ll love it. Thank you, Choco Nose!

Made well, super cute. Only con is that with my coroplast liner height it cannot be used without cutting part of the coroplast liner to be low enough for my particular cage set up. I have no issues with the actual product.

Perfect size for kittens
I love these they are PERFECT size for 5 week old kittens that love to spill their water and food in regular bowls. Easy to attach to crate. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great for guinea pigs/small pet
I bought 2 of these for my guinea pig, they are super great, easy to clean, and very good quality, they screw onto the back of the cage and you can detach the bowl from the screw so you donât have to keep unscrewing it from the cage! Definitely worth the money!

It’s very cute! I was worried when it got here because it’s a little big, but it holds very sturdy and it is angled a little bit down so my little rabbit has no problem eating from itIt also is very easy to remove and reattach the bowl, so it’s extremely convenient

Perfect!
Excellent for ferret cage so they cannot make a water mess, and super easy to secure on cage and clean. Highly recommend! (Although they now free roam 99% of the time anyway and love to nap in my dresser drawer or closet the most lol) But they still like to crawl in cage and chill in the hammock sometimes

No more floods in the cage!
This works very well for my tiny puppy that doesnât really like to drink. Every time I would put a water bowl in her cage, she would dump it. This is sturdy and smaller so she will walk over there occasionally and drink. And itâs good because I donât have to walk over and see a flood.!

Such a great bowl, my guinea pigs are quite messy and often go to the toilet in there bowls that are on the ground in the hutch, this is a great way of avoiding that, plus itâs more exercise for them to have to reach up and go in for food! Fabulous bowl! Plus itâs a cute shape. Would recommend!

Extremely difficult to change as the bowl but detaches too easily. Had to take it off the cage, attach it back then attach back to the cage. Not fun or easy
