Heat up quickly. Put out a good amount of heat.
I like ceramic heaters as you can use them during the day or night and it won’t affect the animals sleep. These can be used for a variety of animals. We use these for baby chicks as well as the main chicken coop. For the coop, we use a Thermocube to turn them on when it gets below freezing and it keeps the girls warm. They came very well packaged and seem to be well made. They use exactly 100 watts. These bulbs heat up quickly. After 30 seconds the temp reads about 200° and after 5 minutes it was between 600-700° which is quite hot. Make sure to keep it at a safe distance from whatever you’re warming because it will burn. Ask me how I know?Overall good bulbs and a good deal at 2 for $12.99. Time will tell how long they last, but so far so good.

Great Price for Two Bulbs
I used this heat bulb to warm my birds’ cage. They are a bit on the melodramatic side and don’t like the room temp to be lower than 75 degrees. This bulb brought the temperature up about 10 degrees from the room temp (measured 14 inches below the bulb). They are happy to have a replacement bulb keeping their cage warm.I placed it at the end of the long cage closest to me where I work from home. Through-out the day they went back into their cage to eat and bask in the heat from the new bulb. The only question is if the bulb will last as long as other’s I’ve purchased (at least a year with constant usage), so I will update this review if it does not.

Works Well, Keeps Reptiles Warm
These Heat Emitters are exactly what I needed for my reptiles. They heat up quickly and provide consistent warmth without any light, which is perfect for night use. I also like that theyâre versatile â they seem great for other pets like birds or small mammals too.So far, theyâve been reliable and easy to set up. A solid choice if you need a steady heat source for your terrarium.

Not the best
I am not overly satisfied with these heat lamps. They do heat and have no light which is great for nighttime use. However, a single lamp doesn’t even keep the tanks cooler side warm enough. I find that my dragon is always reaching for the heat at night. Using both at the same time is providing more stable heat but this leaves me without a spare, and less space for is daylight bulb. My tank isn’t huge, only 25 gallon front opening. The cooler side only gets to about 62-65 degrees which is much to cold for a dragon. Cheaper than most, but I wouldn’t buy this one again as it doesn’t have the intended heat.

25 watt ceramic bulbs are great for small tanks
Works as advertised, but they are 25 watts which is great for a small tank. My son has a 55 gallon snake terrarium and that requires a much higher wattage. I love these ceramic bulbs – they emit heat without bothersome light which is perfect when you have the tank in a bedroom. Good quality bulb and good value since it come with 2.

Even heat ceramic emitter
I have a young Leopard Tortoise that requires a heat bulb year round when he is in his enclosure so he does not get a cold. For a long time we would get the ZooMed ceramic 50w bulbs, but no more!We got these in a 50w power, with one bulb at the end with his solar lamp, and one at the other. At 14″ high, it keeps his enclosure at a nice and humid 90′ consistently, which he loves as a desert species. If I remember a year from now when I change the heat bulbs, I will touch back to let everyone know they lasted a year! All in all, for the money, these are quality ceramic heat bulbs that work perfectly for my Tortoises enclosure.

Great heat source, no light
Using this ceramic heat emitter for my snake tankâworks perfectly. It gives off steady warmth without any light, so it doesnât mess with their sleep cycle. Easy to install, heats up fast, and seems durable. Great for reptiles that need nighttime heat without the glow. Solid value for the price.

Great bulbs
Works great. Heats up fast. These came just in time for the cooler weather. I love the two-pack because I can add a second heat source for the colder months.
