The cats figured out that this is a scratching post very quickly, they can reach up high and stretch. The base is large and stable, I don’t have to stand this post upright as much as the smaller ones.

okay but has room for improvement.
okay i guess. i received this with the mouse missing and some cat hair on it, showing it had been returned. That aside, it’s an okay design but has some flaws. The base comes folded and the bolt and washer to connect the first post piece are what lays it flat and keeps it “secure.” It really doesn’t keep fully flat so stability can be an issue for its height. both sections of the pole do not need to be used, which is actually a benefit because when one wears out, its easy to put the other one on there. also, the bolts that go between each connecting piece on the middle and top of the pole work fine but the thread depth that goes into each piece is uneven due to how the stops om the bolts are.

Slim design makes it easy to place
This has been fantastic for my cat..and me. It’s a good height for small or medium sized cats. It’s simple to assemble and lightweight enough for me to easily move or carry. It’s slim, so it’s very easy to find a spot for it. The rope is good quality and won’t need to be replaced right away. My cat uses it all the time and it hasn’t shredded yet. She loves tearing her claws through it 🙂 She just really enjoys scratching on it. This is saving my furniture from being torn up. Awesome post that is the perfect size.

Great Quality and Easy Setup – My Cats Love It!
I recently added this scratching post to my home, and Iâm really happy with it. It looks great, and the assembly was quick and easy. I typically prefer carpet-style posts, but I decided to give sisal a go since theyâre more affordable and readily available. My cats have been all over itâespecially enjoying the hanging toys. Itâs sturdy, has a good height for stretching, and seems durable enough to last.Overall, I’m glad to have selected it, and my cats are already using it regularly! If you’re looking for a practical and affordable scratching post, this one ticks all the boxes.

I thought it was larger
I should have read the dimmensions, because the picture makes it look a lot larger than it actually is. I was a bit disappointed when I received it. The platform on top is too small for all 3 of my cats, even the smallest one. They do like to use it as a scratch post though so it does its job at that.

Poor Quality and UnstableâNot Worth It
Unfortunately, this cat scratching post was a major disappointment. While the idea of a tall, heavy-duty scratching post for larger cats is great in theory, the execution falls far short. The sisal rope, which is supposed to be the main attraction for scratching, is secured with staples. This not only looks cheap but also poses a potential safety hazard if the staples come loose.The stability of the post is another big issue. Itâs extremely wobbly, even during light use, which makes it unappealing for my cat to scratch on. To make matters worse, the base broke in half after just one use by my cat. Itâs clear that the materials and construction are not durable enough to withstand regular play or scratching.Overall, this scratching post does not live up to its claims of being âpremiumâ or âheavy-duty.â I would not recommend it, especially for larger or more active cats. Itâs a poorly designed product that fails to deliver on quality and durability.

Pros:This post is tall enough so bigger cats can really stretch out.Cons:Quality: Difficult to assemble due to one screw opening being smaller than the rest.Practicality: Itâs still very much wobbly when kittens jump on it and the perch is way too small for big cats. Itâs just enough to just sit on it.

Seriously…FIVE STARS
Looking for a cat scratcher that’s tall enough for your kitties to get that much-needed BIIIIIIIG stretch? This is the one! My cats have immediately taken to it as their favorite. Quality is excellent, stability is great, the height is perfect, and putting it together was a breeze. Unfortunately, the stretchy string toy came unstapled within just a few minutes, but my kitten was going at it pretty rough, so that makes sense! I’ll figure out a way to reattach it.
