Customers say
Customers find the cat toy well-constructed and easy to put together, keeping cats entertained for hours. However, the ball gets stuck at every curve, and the plastic connectors break easily. While some customers consider it worth the money, others feel it’s not worth the price. Customers disagree on whether their cats enjoy playing with it.

Great product, cat not interested so far
I bought the Super speed track and the Wave track, thinking two things. They must be different in some way, and this would help with all the reviews saying the ball dies fast. So, first…misconception. The ball is juts a plastic ball. It’s not a motion sensor ball, so that’s a disappointment. Now I have 2 balls that have to be manually moved. My cat isn’t very motivated unless something moves, so needless to say I’m the only one who had played with this so far while showing him what to do. Second, both tracks are the same, except the super speed track has 4 more pieces. I attached them together and it looks super fun, but nothing from Bryan, my cat. It’s very sturdy and stable, took less than 2 minutes to put it together, and looks great. I sprinkled catnip in the balls and track, but nothing yet. I’ll see if anything changes after 3 weeks. If not, it’s going back lol. Good product though!

More improvements are needed but some of my cats enjoy this
3.6 stars for how it comes. See below for how to make it 4-5 stars!! Two of my four cats will play with this. The third is not interested at all. The fourth is very interested but can’t fit his paws into the holes in the covers to move the ball around the track. I have four American domestic short hair cats. Two are part Siamese and are movers and two that are stationary players and much harder to get moving.I have the original catit play circuit (no raised hills) and the speed circuit. (Had raised hills) (both from the blue “previous generation”) There are very few differences between the two that I have noticed. The track is longer than the previous offerings. (If only buying one set) However, there are many improvements that I wish were already fixed with this “2.0 model”. I will list some pros and cons to possibly help guide your purchase.Pros:-The green covers lock into place (by sliding ahead) There is an illustration showing which way to slide on the covers on the covers themselves.-Toy should interest cats who like stationary play and who already like similar ball on track toys like the Bergan Turbo Track or Chaser or the Petstages catnip chase toy.-The toy is part of the 2.0 line and will be a very nice border for possible play at the outside of the other 2.0 items if you have purchased or are interested in those.-Stationary ball track toys are very good toys to get cats who are stationary players or that may be overweight moving, because they sit and play with the toy but then when the ball goes out of reach they may be motivated to move to keep it in motion. The toy can also occupy your cats when you are unable to play with them.-The box is very pretty and has instructions on it for creating a treat puzzle box with a little cutting and bending.Cons:- The toy didn’t come with any instructions or layout samples to help put the toy together. The only “instructions” are hard to understand pictures in a small corner of the box.-The holes in the green covers and in between the covers that are supposed to send the ball around the track with a paw swipe may be too small for your cat’s paw to fit in especially if you have large males or large breed cats. The manufacturer should have two size options on the covers for small and large cats.- The hills on the super circuit and wave circuits are a little steep (especially for such a heavy ball) for the average cat to get the ball going on. The ball will crest the hill but then roll back down most times and your cat may walk away frustrated.-The ball is heavy and requires a lot of force to get moving around the track.-The pieces slide together and if not completely aligned there will be a ridge in between the pieces that the ball can get stuck on.I might try replacing the ball that it comes with with a more lightweight ball such as a ping pong ball to see if my cats can get it to move a little more and therefore be more interested and less frustrated. I would still recommend this toy if you have multiple cats or a cat who likes to “sit and play” with similar toys but probably the regular play circuit and not the one with the hills unless some improvements are made.UPDATE: 5 stars if you add two ping pong balls to the track instead of the ball it comes with! All 4 of my cats now play with it and for a long time! The ping pong balls are a lot more lightweight and easier for the cats to get over the hills and will even go around the track with a “halfway hit” if you have the problem of your cat not being able to get their paws in the openings. Also be sure all the pieces are aligned by pushing down on the edges of the white track in the openings between the covers. Also be sure you locked your covers or they’ll come off.

Arrived broken, but once assembled (with tape to keep it together) the cats love it.
I bought this Amazon Refurbished, but it still arrived with two of the tabs (the ones that slide the top parts into the bottoms and keep the pieces together) broken off. One tab was loose in the box and one was missing altogether, suggesting the item had been mailed/packed in its broken state. Of course it was the LAST piece I put on, after 20 minutes of putting it together, and I at that point wasn’t going to take it apart and send it back for another one because my three cats were already very interested in it. After a few minutes I realized that the cats were able to pop the ball out due to the green piece with the missing tabs, so I taped down that unsecured piece with packaging tape and now it seems like the ball can’t escape. The cats love it.

Highly Recommend!! It Will Be Worth It!
My one-year-old kitty is obsessed with this toy! It kept him entertained for a solid 30 minutes before he finally crashed for a nap. I definitely recommend it! It’s super easy to snap together and take apart, so you can make all sorts of tracksâa circle or a long line, thanks to the edge pieces. Seriously keeps my kitty busy and happy. The ball that comes with it is a bit noisy on the track, but it’s simple to swap in a quieter one if you need to. (We sometimes use a pink ball at night to keep things a little quieter but still funâthough it’s not included with the toy.) Honestly, it’s not a big deal at all, and my kitty loves it no matter which ball we use! 🙂

I bought the Super Circuit instead of the shorter normal one for my kitten and I am glad I did. The design and quality is great. You can use all the connectors or make it a simple track and change it anytime. At first, my cat was just looking at us playing with it and does not seem to be interested. However the next day onwards he always pass through it each day and spend time playing on his own. he sometimes sleep around it. Happy cat!

Of my two cats one does not appear interested, however the other jumped on this the moment I put it together and started playing with me. I was expected to bat the ball back to him. When I stopped, he started picking at it and picked up one end and got the top off one section and proceeded to try and detach the bottom. I put it back together. Since then he has had several attempts to liberate the ball. Overnight it was moved from the room where I left it into the kitchen, still in one piece, and I could hear him playing with it when I woke up.This is a sturdy toy, in spite of the attention the cat gave it. I can pick it up by one section and move it so its easily put out of the way if needed, and I can put it around the cat tree to anchor it, as that tends to travel and gets kicked around a lot. You do need to make sure all the bits are firmly connected or else a persistent cat will remove them but once thats done it holds together when picked up. Well worth it, particularly when its on special, and I suspect you can get another one to make a much longer track.
